Lt1 vs. Grand Prix GTP...horrible street race
#42
We hit up O'Reilly's Race Park in Indianapolis on Tuesdays occasionally. We are heading up April 7th for sure. There are a couple other tracks I plan to test my car out on, Edgewater and a I think Brownstown has one. Not entirely sure. What all mods are done to yours?

Those gtps are quick and are sleepers. my buddy used to have one. i raced him in my pitiful lt1 at the time. my lt1 had a slipping tranny and shifted at like 4k. he would get me out of the hole by 2 cars and up top i would fly past him pretty hard at around 100 mph. those were the good old days when i was 16.

with the right mods those suckers can be very quick. my brother has one with a smaller pulley and hes running a high 13. my buddy has a 4door one with a decent amount of work but nothing crazy, and he is running high 11s. low 11s on the juice.

I would say. LT1 sucks in the snow. I was stuck in the same spot for about a week or two. Once I tried getting out, just would get stuck again. I about got a Jeep Wrangler stuck in the same spot after getting it out. Ever ran the GTP at a track?

Sounds like it is pretty mean. Idk much about those motors, so I have no idea how much power you are putting out.

500whp + with a tune. The 3800 loves boost from a turbo. To bad the car is front wheel drive. Can never hook even with nitto dr's heated up. That's why I bought the camaro!! v8+rwd= Win!! Look up turbo gtp on youtube or streetfire.
