I hate when people say stupid **** like this. You went out looking for a racing with a car full of people and then you are going to use it as an excuse? 
Reminds me of this time a guy in a Mustang GT said the same thing. He tried to race me then said "Man I got a car full of people!". 
I told him "Pull over and let them get in the car with me and then we will race." He didn't and his stupid friends were yelling about putting money down on this race and I proceeded to put 3 or 4 miles between us by the time I ran 4th out.

So I said i was going out anyways and then they followed. I never have had 4 people in my car before and never plan on it again.Thats why he said he left TC on. That is a big mistake when going up against a full second faster car.

I didn't use it as an excuse. I simply added the fact that i have another 600lbs. in my car you better win. I was just acting a little cocky. If he would have won I would have given him the thumbs up. But I have reason to believe that he knows that even with the TC off he wouldn't win because i asked him to run again and he didn't want anymore.

Infact I remember one time when I had 2 of my buddies (200lbs each) sit in my back seats of my Cobra on a money race against a cammed LS1 6 speed. Thats the only way at the time I could hook up on my 17" wheels from a dig. I won too.

Exactly! If you wanted to you could find a C6 Z06 that ran 15 seconds in the 1/4th mile however you can't use that as a crutch on claiming to beat a C6 Z06 in your bolt on Mustang GT. A high 12 second car with 4 adults will turn into a high 14 second car. This story is either full BS or partly BS.

I'm just speaking how I think. If the tables were turned and a intake/exhaust/tuned 05+ GT 5 speed came on here and claimed he beat a stock LS1 with 4 people in the Mustang you guys would be stoning him to death and demanding a ban. I would be claiming BS on that too. I've taken a 13.5 second car and let my friend ride shotgun while I went down the track and with his added weight the car ran 13.8-13.7. Imagine 4 people... Good kill on the Mustang but a bus length? Where did I put that flag...

This is my gt bone stock, slow but still a 13 sec car . The car is now tuned with 13.1 at 105. 78 mph with highway gears and an a-5 auto. a GT/CS is a high 13 car correcting a comment of mid 13. I didn' understand how high 13s was more accurate than mid....however, regardless, it's a moot point in the big picture. S197s are mid upper 13s 'in general'.
