Cocky SL55 AMG gets walked.... Well, I don't get to race on the street much, but when I do I love it. I work in Philadelphia and take Rt. 676 over the Ben Franklin Bridge everyday. This morning I had a run in with a 2003 Mercedes SL55 AMG. He rode my *** doing like 80. With slight traffic he got in front of me. So me behind him, a car next to him and a lane open on the right with no one ahead. I look in through his back window and he waves goodbye. He downshifts 
, hits it and goes....well I lay it to the floor, shoot off into the right lane. I got next to him at 110....and blew by him all the way to 150. Had at least 7-8 cars on him when I let off it. When I got up next to him again...he wouldnt even look at me...You know, if he wouldn't have waved goodbye..I probably wouldn't have gone after him. It's a shame when guys like that pay 120k for a car and lose respect for anything less.

Are you nutzzz? The guy in the Mercedes is in the correct place sir, behind the wheel of a 100K+ Merc, would you wanna be anywhere else? Who cares in the end if he got beat by a 25K GM!

Re: Cocky SL55 AMG gets walked.... I ran one of these at Silver Dollar RW in Reynolds Ga. at the Ga. f body shootout of all places. First pass of the day, on F1's. He ran a 12.64@111.54 to my 12.73@114.23. that thing seemed just squat and go, he cut a 1.8 60 ft to my 2.0

Re: Cocky SL55 AMG gets walked.... Good kill. BTW the SL55 usually runs around $130-$140k.My dad actually has a SL55 on order right now and it is due in sometime in mid October, but that's ok because I just ordered the TR224 cam
