OP, good kill, that's a strong running GT you have, and it's definitely nice to see! Good luck at the dyno.
i do agree with you. i have ran across a lot of mustang owners that wont even try to race. they just punk out. guess its because i have just absolutely murdered almost every gt in my town. there are more ricers in my area than anything else. cant drive anywhere in my town without hearing a fart can but they are easy to punk out. all you have to do is pull up next to them and rack the pipes and they go running for the hills.

Wait nevermind, didn't even have too!

In all seriousness, nice kill OP, does sound like the dude was a tool bag if he couldnt acknowledge you've got a decent running Stang.

I wonder if it would been dead nuts even had he not given you the jump?
[granted you totally won, and its his own dumbass fault for under estimating you]

Good kill!

it probably would have been close to dead even if he had not gave me the jump. he only let me get the nose of my car infront of his before he jumped but you never can tell what would have happened if he had not let me take the jump. if he catches me in two weeks from now when i get my DRs put on i will run him from a dig if he would like and i think i would put more than 3/4ths on him. maybe a car or so. my cars pretty stout from a dig when i can hook.

Congrats on a good KILL. I HATE sore losers in any contest. Anyway maybe he was an auto, they don't do as good from a roll against a stick. It is possible he was a bad driver too. Congrats to you. The other guy should buy an Eclipse.

Good kill man. Its nice seeing 2vs running like that, and being humble at that. I'm tired of all the exhaust only 2vs thinking their **** doesn't stink (hell, ls1 and lt1 owners as well).

So, can we assume no custom tune?

"My modds consist of 75mm throttle body, bbk cai, bbk longtube headers, straight pipe through flows, tk 500 tranny with short thro shift, 4.10 gears, tons of other undercarrage modifications."

Hook it up to a wideband to know your A/F? Are you running on the factory stock tune? How long have you had those mods?

BTW - Nice kill.

how long have you had it? did the seller not tell you about the tune?

I'm jsut sayin' man.......I'd at least pay $100 for a few pulls to make sure you aren't lean right now. Cheap insurance.

That sounds about right, it takes a full bolt on/geared/m5 coupe new edge gt to take out a stock ls1.

shoosh. no it don't.

There are Geared, light bolt on tuned, DR'd New edges running low 13s. Full bolt ons are not necessary if you know what you're doing.

How do you know if it's running lean, rich or ok without a wideband or sniffer?

anybody can smell it if your car is running rich. if my car was running lean i would have already f*cked something up from all the races and runs at the track i have done. since i opened my mouth about the track my best time so far out of 5 passes was a 13.2

ok

What ANYONE can SMELL is the fuel that's not BEING BURNED by your CATLESS Midpipe.

You CAN't nec. SMELL if you are RICH from 2-4 and 4+k at WOT genius!!!

Don't try to come off as such a hardass know it all to those trying to help.

ANd oh yes...5 passes is definitely enough to do damage.

Next time, take it easy kid. There ARE 'SOME' people that have more knowledge than you!
