Next time, take it easy kid. There ARE 'SOME' people that have more knowledge than you!

Relax buddy. If he thinks his car is running rich, then he thinks his car is running rich.

At the end of the day his car runs well and it took down an undocumented ls1. Could be stock, could be bolted...... Who knows and who cares?

Kid... Good race. Hope your able to get a good tune on the dyno and able to break into the 12s.

PS.... Not all TAs are such push overs . LOL.

im not trying to be a hard *** or anything like that man. i tried telling you that i had a guy who does mod work as a profession. and i did not say you did not know more than me. because you do know more about this stuff than me. i have read a lot of your posts. in 2 weeks the car will be on the dyno. and if its running lean then its running lean and will have to be fixed. i took the car to him before i ever went to the track to have him drive it and check it out. he did not have his dyno it at the time so could not put it on there. he said everything was fine that if the car was running anything it was running rich. trust me you are the last person i want to get into an argument with on here.

By full bolt ons I mean mid pipe/catback, CAI, plenum, throttle body/tuner. I don't doubt there are new edge gt's running low 13's.

Open loop and Closed loop. one is normal driving and the other is after a certain point. The car's computer tune completely takes over, whereas normal driving it's pretty much the MAF and 02s tlaking back and forth for 'cruising' rpm and load. once you go past half-3/4 throttle the tune in the ECu takes over along with MAF and O2s. There much more to it, but that's the lamens jist of it.

Well...that's not full bolt ons. Call me crazy....but I must be old school. To me, full bolt ons, means FULL bolt ons. And STOCk , means STOCK..no drop in filter, tune, DRs, etc. etc.

1) Nice kill OP.
2) A New Edge GT will kill a LS1 90% of the time.
3) Mike (PonyGT65), I hate to say it, knows exactly what he is talking about.
4) Did I say LS1's suck?
5) Why is your screen name Whipplecharged03? Is that your plan?

alot of money is an understatement....ROFL.

KB's make kits for the 2V's. IDK about whipple, even thought hey are a 10 minute drive from my work. ROFL.

You're looking at a good $10k MINIMUM to do it right. But, I agree, gotta have goals.

you don't know what your talking about. there are many full bolt on gt's in the 12's...my buddy who has an ss had an 00 gt that wasn't full bolt on and he ran 8.4 in the eighth...which is at right about a 13.0...

and i know of 2 other guys runnin mid/high twelves

and in fact, there is a member on here with an ls1 and a 2valve...and he has a 2v with NOWHERE near full bolt on's and ran 12.9...in fact his member name is 2v in the twelves

Since your gonna go through that trouble and expense, why not just swap in an aluminator and a whipple and make 700 RWHP instead of 5++?
