and i know for a fact that he isnt pullied, and still is on the stock intake he ran 12.7@116.9 on street tires
looks pretty stock to me, and trust me we have some guys that have pullied cobras that come out with us on the weekend and this would have been 7-8 Car lengths if he was pullied

I thought there was supposed to be a guard around the stock pulley? And it is removed when you change the pulley size?

You typically can't use the stock guard with an upper pulley change because most of the time you add an aux idler for more belt wrap around the upper pulley (helps prevent belt slip)... the guard wont fit if there is an aftermarket aux idler installed.

Has your friend owned this car since new or did he buy it used?

You know it might look stock, but I was just thinking.... HE MIGHT HAVE A LOWER PULLEY!!!! People do that around my area... It'll look COMPLETELY stock, but they'll have a lower pulley. That's what he had to have... Also, it seemed like he did put about 7-8 cars on you.

Good to know. For the Cobra guys, is there a quick and easy way to tell a non-stock pulley? Any pics to show the difference?
Also, I wonder who would win between a stock Terminator and a stock new Camaro SS?

So now you're talking stock C5 Z06 trap speeds with just a catback?
Maybe something's been done to the Cobra that the owner is not telling (tune?) or isn't aware of (lower pulley?).
Has anyone else seen a Cobra with just a catback mph that high?
#34
If he traping 117mph (110-112 stock) he has a lower pulley and his car is good for low 12's high 11's while your car is only good for a low 13 at best with your mods. Vid looks right now....

Why does he have to have a lower pulley? I've seen a catback push an 03/04 Cobra over the 400rwhp mark a few times. My car put down 441rwhp 431rwtq and I ran 7.2 in the 1/8 mile. I'm assuming that would be around 11.3 or 11.4 in the 1/4.
My point being that with a catback, this guy very well could be over 400rwhp. I'm at 441rwhp and run low 7s I'm sure his can run high 7s.
It just doesn't make since for people to say "he HAS to have a pulley!!!" There’s other options here other than “ITS PULLIED!” It could be ported with stock pullies, could have a tune with stock pullies, could have nitrous, or it could just be that IT RUNS GOOD! Come on, why does everyone get into the whole “oh no, there’s something up with that car… there’s no way its stock!” It is what it is. If the guy is hiding something, then it looks like he’s doing a damn good job at it. Now let’s all play detective and speculate what else is done to the car
I bet it has nitrous, gears, ported blower, 8lb lower, and a tune

if he traps 116 with a pulley boy needs to learn how to drive. the other thing in the video that make me think there is no pulley and definately no lower pulley is the ta hangs with it through a gear or so. a lower pulley set up makes big torque and would have yanked that t/a right off the hit.

My guess: Stage 19 ported blower, lower pulley, 350 hit of the juice, and 4.56 gears ohh and a mini tub with 335's
my question to op is, why'd you sell the other car and buy this one? when the other one was bolt-on stalled and ran just fine didnt it?
this one has some worn rear gears and not full bolt ons
