Talking 1981 z28 vs 20g evo and t7 GNX

Has anyone pick up on that . when a track lets close for the night the hole dam interstate tacks the place of the race track lol.

Not 4 weeks ago we are leaving in the z28 for the night . Made my way to the interstate like any other night boom 1987 white GNX on 1 side ,2003 WRX STI on the other .1st thing i think crap 2 turbo cars on the interstate . well i know the Gnx will get me just wonder whats in the subby . well before i can work the nerve up i her , honk, honk, honk followed by the sound of a t7 turbo spooling on a GNX . i was ready to go on that 3rd honk and i did .all the way to last place . STI happen to have a 20g turbo on it plus every bolt on ever made and a sweet tune.lost by at least million cars to the GNX . maybe 5 to the STI .shut down higher then i would like 123 mph. 330rwhp z28 vs a 11 sec car and 10 sec car . was fun and those cars where beastly talked for a good bit at the pumps. my modds are in sig

Wait...
Was it an STI or an EVO?
Nice deaths either way.

Your use of periods is a little distracting though.

LOL. OP's story sounds like some fantasy for when he finally gets his car on the road.

They didn't.
IF this happened, it was probably a built up regal t-type turbo.

The lack of some peoples ability to transpose their thoughts onto a computer screen disturbs me sometimes... Maybe I should just take it more lightly...

But I now feel more dumb for reading this.

GN's of any kind only came in black afaik, but its a 20 year old car maybe he got it painted. Good run to the OP, way to go for it even if you think you'll loose.

No such thing as a white GNX. There was a replica GNX called the X-ray that was made famous, but never a true GNX.

That's all lies.

So confused...a RHD import, a white GNX and a motor swapped Camaro. Sounds like Hollywood. Was there a helicopter with a boat engine filming all of this too?

You needed the 81 Z28 I saw at the Hotrod Powertour. Had twin turbos and the outside looked completely stock and unrestored in it's wonderful faded gold color and peeling stickers. Sleeper for sure.
