Donkey Punched a Z06 Today at work we had to take 2 Z06's to a performance shop, so I took my car to test out the new cam 
As we were getting on the highway my friend punched it, so when I saw the exhaust smoke I nailed mine, he had the jump on me but it didnt matter I caught up to him in a heartbeat and past him like he was sitting still. After I raped the vette I called him to ask if he was at full throttle? He was screaming in the cellphone "holy ****, i was at full throttle and U smoked my ***, and DAMN your car is Loud!!!!" Guess I made up for last time I raced him pre-cam and he whooped my ***.

So you "raped" a car that you have about a 15-20rwhp advantage over and a 500lb weight disadvatage. Good kill. I would be interested to know what speed you started from and what gear your friend selected.

40mph punch in 2nd, I didnt think he was gonna play until I lined up next to him,but he started when he got onto the highway playing "catch-up", he said he started in 2nd when he got on the highway and when i passed him he was well into 3rd about to shift to 4th. Last time I raced him I had only 335rwhp and he walked me bad. Thats why im so glad I won this one.

Whats wrong with my mods? there are plenty there. And most Z06's I have seen only dyno 340 to 360 rwhp stock. And those dyno numbers are right after I got my cam in, standing still on a dyno with just a fan blowing under my car, thats not moving rwhp when my ram air helps out. plus my computer has learned since then so I may have a little more rwhp.

lol jack *** haters always try to debate a kill.. dude i talked to the guy that was driving the z06.. he admits he was full throttle and going at it.. and he said how darren pulled past him.
he trapped 108.81 w/ 335rwhp.. now he's got 378rwhp.. its safe to say the car is trapping higher then a stock z06(115-112) which is what would matter from a highway roll.

There's more to the ZO6 than RWHP. The transmission is geared much better.

Was the guy in the ZO6 familiar with the car?
I could be full throttle in the wrong gear and get my *** handed to me by a Honda Civic.

since it is the same driver that beat his car before the cam, intake, pulley.. i'd assume the driver knew what gear to be in
