You guys got to understand that these cars are also 5+ years old. There could be a ton of unknowns at play here. Any check engine lights on the SS? lol.

NICE! Either that SS is a shitty driver or the Z28 is a factory FREAK! Very Nice Races!

The lid, the intake manifold, the heads, the cam, everything about that ss should have him pulling you on top end. I couldn't watch the video, but I know those things are true. But, the z may have been lighter weight, not to mention the 200 lb passenger. Still though, the ss should have taken the win on each race I think.

Thats very interesting..... when I first got my car I raced my buddies 99 Trans-Am (M6,lid, Ported TB, and cat back) and all I had was the GMMG catback, my car is an 01 and it was ugly all over dig, 30 roll, etc. With me AND my little brother, both of us being over 200 pounds, and my buddy by himself. The LS6 intake, 241 castings, and the truck cam should have netted him the win ESPECIALLY since the Z had a stock lid.

Need to get a scan tool, some sea foam, and check the maintence items on the SS ASAP!

i think it came out just as i knew it would, both drivers can bang gears really good, the SS just turned 40,000 miles and the Z28 has 68,XXX, both cars are in great condition and the SS just beat my friends 03 Cobra that has intake and x-pipe by a car.

Came out the way I figured it too. Should not really be any power diffrence between the two.

LS6 intake manifold, and the aftermarket lid. Should be good for 15hp+. So yeah, there is a power difference, but the z should be a little lighter.

I just watched all the videos and I know the difference. The Z28 had his t-tops out and the SS didn't. Advantage Z28. Less weight up front more weight out back more squat and more hooking potential. I totally just pulled all of this out of my ***. LOL

I also agree he needs to get rid of the "choke master"!
