Killed by my friends single rx7 Lets just put it like this. He runs 117+traps with his old setup and now hoping for 120+.
My friend just got his rx7 up and running again. Haven't seen him for awhile until I pulled up into RSI motorsports last saturday. After shooting the **** for awhile, I wanted to see how I would do against him(already knew I was going to lose). Anyway, we drive down to highway 6 where theres nothing but open road infront of us. We start of in second gear, when I instantly pulled a car length on him. I have the t-tops off, so I can clearly hear every little detail that is going on around me. All of a sudden I hear, what sounded like a plane halling *** right in back of me(damn I love wastegates) were he was already at my door. Shift to forth. already a car infront of me. 5th, it was clearly over. He already had 3 are 4 cars on me. His car is a single 94 rx7, with a single upgraded turbokit. At 10 psi, he dynoed at 380 t to the wheels and 415 at 12 psi. This car is a monster on the highway.

though i kinda wish you dident post this... guy at my work keeps saying his old rx7 is insainly fast. he has a turbo timmer.
the first day he sed to me "faster than any thing youd own..."
im never going to here the end of this one.
thouse things are mosters on the highway its sick how high they rev stock. and they handel like a madd man too
i just love how they sound. some where between a cesna and a happy cammel

No, just kidding. He's sitting right behind me at work and goes "Hey I'm complaining about you"...
So I had to see..
At any rate, yeah his car he used to have (although we never raced) probably was faster. I didn't only have a turbo timer, shaddap
It was running 3 lbs less than stock boost, but still it used to run 13.75 @ 105. Not blazingly fast, but for a 1990 turbo car that cost me $3,000 and was running less than stock boost, not too bad.
And by the way, yeah his formula is probably faster too. But at least I OWNED my car outright.

Haha, I know Don. He has had that car for quite awile. I ran him back when I had mine on Westheimer. I saw him about six months ago, but forgot to get his number.

i wouldent really call him a friend just an associate.. no just kidding hes a good guy (though he can be kinda preechy at times) his names matt guy i work with. hes strictly rx7s he posts alot on an rx7 forurm dont know what one though but i do know its the same name.. i think its rx7club.com... i could be wrong though
..... just kidding. you guys are making nice numbers with those imports...... nice death.
