There's no doubt that several people had a hand in the mach's design. Scott was the 'team leader' and it was a group effort. I was just giving my two cents on it.

well just got back to looking at this thread and it looks like this is a case of sarcasm not coming across on the web.
my posts were meant as sarcasm and as snarky comments.

I will try to explain so everyone can understand my sarcastic comments.

Op, you "obliterated a Hyundai" that's cool,
but it was driven by a "60 year old guy and had a old lady passenger"
so you raced a senior citizen and his wife.

The Hyundais Genesis coupe weighs 3478#
4 cylinder is 210 hp-at crank
6 cylinder is 306 hp-at crank

Honestly op, were you really and genuinely surprised at the outcome?
With the hp of your car compared to their car isn't the outcome exactly as it should have been.

Additionally, you were surprised that you didn't get a ricer fly-by. But why were you surprised? Are senior citizens generally considered ricers?

When I read your initial post what ran through my mind is that you beat a couple senior citizens that were probably on the way to Sizzler for the early-bird special.

Also, there is no Ford hating on my part, I have owned a couple of Fords.

Perhaps if you look up some retirement homes or senior citizen centers you could find some more senior ricers to score KILLZ on.
(this is sarcasm)

anyway, good luck and nice car

Dude you are one closed minded indivdual, I'm 47 and I hope at 60 if I'm still able to drive I will be kicking ***. I'm pretty sure John Force is like 55, I doubt he's on his way to sizzler at 300mph. Dude I posted for the fun of it and if you go to the original post I described it as "puppy kicking" I knew I would have no problem smoking that car. The point I was trying to make is some older guy in a Genesis tried me and I had some fun with him, he ended up being a good guy thats it. You didn't make it seem like sarcasm, so I took it wrong...I guess. You gave me a compliment so I'm gonna end it here, wasted way to much time on this as it is. later

That maybe.

There's a section over on SVTP that doesn't count towards PC's either.

As much as I love racing action, this is why I spend most of my time in the Tech sections with the 'real' gearheads. Some of you guys act very immature, you would think you ran across a kiddie forum with all of the put down comments people post in here. If it takes putting people down to make you all feel like men so be it. Maybe one day you guys will grow up into mature adults. Or maybe not.

And you my friend need the Ban Button BAD!!! I don't even think your here for your love of cars but instead for the sheer joy of ridiculing people with put downs and name calling, since that's all you do. This place would be so much better without you. Do a good deed and give the LTx/LSx enthusiasts their forum back.

AHAHAHHA...I can guarantee I've helped MORE people on this site than YOU. You can't read my PM's can you?..and I know you haven't read my 3 years of posts.

I need the ban button......take a poll of the SRK and Bench racing section and see what they say. Unlike you n00b's I've proven to know what I'm talking about. I've never even so much as had a warning that I'll be banned. WHY? cause the mods know that I contribute, so shove it up your ***.

BTW - I only redicule ignorant fools....stick around and you might see that.

Thanks for not locking my thread Jay. I'm sure Mike was just responding to the disrespect shown to me from some of the comments on this thread. I think you addressed most of them.
