Lightly mod 99 SS VS 02 vortech S/C Mustang GT????? I have a 99 camaro ss its lightly moded and I have not had the chance to take it to the track due to my blown trans that I had, and I recently got it back from the shop with new race trans and 3600 stall. There is this guy that I know who always taked SH*T to me when my trans was blown, he has a 02 A4 mustang GT which recenlty slaped a vortech supercharger with intercooler and he now want to race for $1000. my ss on the other hand has K&N, LID , FLP headers, vig 3600 stall, 224/224 581 Lft cam, MAF, and NX 120 wet shot. He does not know I am spraying.
Now I think I"ll be walking away $1000 richer but u never know. so what do supercharged 02 mustangs SOC 4.6 run 1/4? my car ran bone stock 13.3 @105
with winter tires. I am not sure what its 1/4 time is after all the mods I slaped on.
WHAT DO YOU GUYS/GIRLS think? let me know PLEASE

depending on what psi he is runnin, u should have him....I SIR, am lightly modded, with the only performance things as u see in my sig, and put a couple cars on an 8 lb vortech stage 2 roush, with a cam, and definitely with the wet shot, this should be no problem, but since he does not know u are spraying, is there somthing u have looked over on his car?????do ur hw, mega bucks on the line....good luck, let us know how this turns out

Hate to say it, but Unit is prolly correct. You never know though, his mph won't be what yours will be, but if he launches your *** outta tha hole then it is anyones ballgame!

I've beat a blown GT with my little old Z28 that only ran a 13.0 N/A.
With that said, there is a blown 2V GT near me that runs 10.6 at 130mph. It's an all out race car though. Just telling you to let you know that it is possible to make them fast...just not likely. A low 11 second car will usually dominate on the street. Not to many of us
have 10 second cars.

i know what you mean unit when you say us and our ten second cars, just like the bronco. i shall say commence a huge *** kickin that he will never forget and take his 1000 bucks! sounds like you are on the way to a set of new heads on your car.

If he has no motor mods to take the boost.It will be aeasy win.
Now mod the motor to handle boost.Now thats a different story.
