03 Turbo, these are the only power mods intake, exhaust, tune. It has short throw, springs, brakes, and wheels.
Nice! I love those Porsche Turbos! Do you have any dyno numbers or track numbers? I've run two of them (both stock) and both were kickass races on the highway. Although, they were 997's if I recall, not 996's. Or maybe one was a 996 and one a 997? I honestly don't remember. I just know one got the jump because I started in too high of a gear but then I was reeling him in and the other hit it first but it just stayed dead even all the way up.

From what I've seen on the R6 forum most of the new R6's are running 130" traps, even with a crappy rider . 600's sure have gotten a lot faster in the past couple years.
That's what I was seeing on those forums, as well. I just posted the magazine time because that's the fastest one I saw and I figured you guys would give more credit to a magazine article than a bunch of forum posts. They all show 130+ traps, though, on the 2009 R6.

Your car must be pretty quick to run with a stock 997tt, the 996tt only had 415 hp and would trap mid teens.

Car has never been dyno'ed. I ran a best of 11.5@ 126mph. That was full weight street tires and pump gas with a 60ft of 1.79. Should have some new track and dyno numbers soon as the car is down for upgrades at the moment.

Yes, Imagine Auto.

Must have been an early 90s 750 or in the wrong gear because even the old SRAD from the late 90s trapped 132 and would pull your car to 150.

Incorrect. It was a 2005 Gixxer 750. You keep talking trap speeds, it's not the same. Please try again.

I used to ride and you gotta realy suck to not be able to shift on the highway....

Taking off on a bike takes some practice ill admit that ..

But whats your car putting down for power?

If its over 500 with the juice then ya I believe it, but if not then it was just a shity driver ...

Maybe I'm confused on the status of your car's mods when it ran the 750. Was it more than what produced the 11.5 @ 126? I could see staying even with a 600 from a 60 roll, but a 750 in a full tuck with clutchless shifting will pull 600hp+ street cars all day, especially those with turbo lag. What's much more likely is you beat the rider that day or lack of one.

No, my car doesn't have lag under 1700rpm, it's a twin. The rider was very good and has owned several bikes and tracked them frequently. Again you are talking about TRAP speed, which doesn't mean **** from a high roll. I'll try to find someone locally to race me on a 750 and I'll post the results. Oh and if you're in the phoenix area I'm free to run your bike this weekend.

A 2006 R6 will do 62-125 in under 7 seconds.

Here are some reference numbers of 60-130mph:

*4.15 - 900+ rwhp Supra, 88mm turbo, 30 psi, TH400 Auto, ET Drags
4.8 - 900 rwhp Supra (88GT47, TH400, no NOS, drag radials)
4.9 - 940 rwhp Supra (35 psi)
5.1 - 840 rwhp Supra (30 psi)
5.4 - 1,000 rwhp TT Viper
5.9 - GSXR 1000 with bolt-ons, header,airbox,cams
6.1 - Saleen S7 Twin Turbo
6.9 - Mosler MT900S
7.0 - Ferrari Enzo
7.3 - Porsche Carrera GT
8.6 - Chevrolet Corvette C6 Z06
8.9 - Mercedes SLR McLaren
9.1 - Porsche 993 RUF Turbo R (100 octane)
9.4 - Lamborghini Diablo VT 6.0
9.5 - Ferrari F430
9.6 - Ferrari F50
10.9 - Lamborghini Murcielago
11.7 - Ferrari Challenge Stradale
12.1 - Lamborghini Gallardo
12.2 - Porsche 996TT

So your car is quicker than an Enzo and Carrera GT? I could provide videos of 750s decimating 600hp+ cars but here just read this:

I had the pleasure of sitting in a Lingenfelter TT C5 down during Car Cruise week that was putting down 800+rwhp/800+rwtq. Quite possibly the only time I was scared for my life in a car. The guy said with some serious slicks, he ran very low 10's @ mid 140's. He even said the car isn't much fun anymore because there isn't much he can challenge but bikes, and on bike riders, he said, verbatim, "most riders are for show and can't ride the bikes at all- very rare if you find one that can".

We ran a GSXR750, slightly modded with exhaust, computer and something else the guy said, I don't remember.

From a 30 goose, we "only" managed two cars on him to 160. We went again from a 70mph goose and managed a bit more, maybe a little more than two cars, maybe two and a half, to 160.

We are talking about a car that has more than double the amount of power a C6 Z06 puts to the ground barely managing to pull one.

Of course, the rider was skilled and knew what he was doing, but even still, it goes to show that you need to be making HUGE power to pull on a properly driven bike like a GSXR750; I won't even touch on the R1 and Busa.

This thread is about a 600 and Bjamick racing it..

nobody cares about someone racing a 750, thats a completely different story..

a full weight fbody with 500+rwhp will pull on a 600..

Really? That is bullshit bench racing. You don't have the variables on the vehicles with the weather and other conditions . You sir are an internet racer, congrads. I have real runs, with real people, that drive real cars. Now go play forza or something and save your bullshit for the 18 yo with honduhs.

There's no way unless you have a lot more mods than an ECU. You beat the rider that day or a very poorly running 750 (or 600).

Watch for yourself 680awhp is probably a bit more than your car had:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Ohco...layer_embedded

Or a 427ci z06:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t1Z3DMqShZM

So just admit you either raced someone who couldn't ride the bike to its potential, you're lying about your mods, or you raced a 600. At 60 MPH a 750 would put bus lengths on a 996 with only a tuned ECU. Yeah eventually the bike will top out around 170 and you'll pass but it's going to take some serious power to stop it's pull a bike from 60-150. I know firsthand from both perspectives.

Learn to read!!!! My car has more then an Ecu. It's an x50 car. Do you personally know the vehicles in those vids? If not there is know way for you to be certain what mods they have.
