i am driving the camaro in this video, i would of power shifted 4th gear but it was like i was hitting a brick wall the owner of the car has up graded to an LS7 clutch and it shifts much better now
We were saying the camaro owner couldn't drive, not you.

I saw no trap speeds in that vid..

So with a bad trans that is going out you pulled that hard on an Ls1???

Post the 113mph vid.

haha a video? look at mine lol, stock LS1 camaros trap 105MPH+ depending on the driver. that camaro in the video was stock. your trap speed and gearing play a BIG part in how fast the car is from a roll.

i am racing another LS1 this weekend it has cam and headers, wanna see a video?

i think on my 2.8 pulley its gonna be dead even

No, a video from the track.. You racing a car from a roll doesn't tell me anything.

Stock Ls1s usually trap 103-106mph, not 105+mph.

I know what effects what from a dig and from a roll.

I am a H/C car, I HIGHLY doubt it would even be a race.
Also, it didnt look like a 114mph car pulling on a stock ls1. I have seen that and it is not pretty.

this is from LAST YEAR on the old setup when i raced the camaro, my bad it didnt trap 114 untill this year with the added timing and smaller pulley. last year the highest it traped was 110 but heres a random slip so you get an idea. yes i know the 60ft is crappy

haha no i wish, like i said i need FULL slicks. the best i could get with DR's was a 2.2 60ft and i still traped over 111MPH i am lowering the car
2morrow so that should help out with weight transfer. there is NO weight at all in the front of my car its all plastic! the front cradle of the car weights about 15lbs lol

Lowering the car is not going to help the 60 ft..

Why are still telling me trap times while spinning? Spinning makes you trap higher, not lower.. That is why I want to know what you run when you somewhat hook.

Relax guy i am not saying you dont i bet even if i were to post a video of me racing the H/C ls1 and i beat it you would still give me $hit about the car lol. is because i have 4 less cylinders? do you wanna see a dyno chart of the car to? i have nothing to hind or lie about. Am here to meet people and learn new stuff and have fun while doing it. The only reason i join this site was because my dad ordered a new camaro. And i wanted to post this video hehe

when i have time and money ill go back with slicks and see what it runs. I dont care really about drag racing. As long as it runs good on the street i am happy

so with a bad cltuch, bad trans, and slow shifting, you managed your best trap ever? hmm, i dont know about that...

why the hell would powershift a N/A? the ONLY time you powershift is when you have a boosted (mostly turbo cars) so you do not lose boost between shifts. other than that, you are tearing those synchros up

I only dyno 320rwhp. Dyno numbers are just that, numbers.

Has nothing to do with having less cylinders or anything.. I just don't think that car is a true 114mph car.. I have seen cars that out trap other cars by 8mph or so and it is not pretty AT ALL.. MUCH MUCH worse than the vid showed.. Also you pick up 29mph on the 2nd half, that is a LOOOOOOOOOOT..
I guess I could see 107-109mph.. But not 110 plus with the given mods.

the clutch was replace a few months ago before the DR's

And yes spinning does cause you to trap higher... but still that is a high trap

haha then you know nothing about theses cars if you could only see 107-109 trap speeds.

most stage 2 cars trap 105MPH all day with bad drivers.

shall i keep going with my crappy time slips?

PS thats over 110MPH with Given mods BTW haha
