death by v-10 M6
Well heading south on interstate and I was speeding somewhat trying to meet up with a buddy of mine. Just as I get in the turn lane for the exit coming up and new white beemer flies up on my *** then jumps to my left and takes off. Well needless to say i got back on the interstate and gave chase. Up to about 120-130 he kept about 2 cars on me. Once we started going beyond that I started pulling him in. At about 145-ish i got side by side with him, then he just hit the brakes and dropped over 3 lanes and exited. Thats when I saw m6 on the back. Very sweet car, white w/red interior.
I only tried him because it beat a new m3 on the high end and a 461rwhp amg mercedes on the top end as well.
Oh well. Fun to get a run with the vette every now and then!
I looked up the car later to see its a 500hp v-10, but it only runs high 12's and weighs 3900+.

Its stock as far as i am concerned. Has intake, cat back and for some reason guy bought shorty headers. I by no means won. But the car pulls really nice from 150-170. I think the other high end cars are limited there or not wanting to keep pushing. The AMG is the fasted i have ever been. The speedo said 173. We slowed back down and when i asked what model he had (all debadged except amg) i couldnt hear over exhaust, he pointed down and said "461 at wheels". After some research it seemed to be a c class amg with the DTM kit on it.
The M3 was 3 highway runs, kinda the same as the M6 but i reeled him back in quicker, probably 125 ish.

well I think this is legitimate except for the "stock" part. Lets say its close to stock. My camaro with weight reduction weighs close to a stock c5. I ran 12.20 in the 1/4 on a lackluster launch and similar mods. Lets say the M6 runs better on the highway than the advertised high 12s stock, the OP's story doesn't sound too far off.....btw all our cars are "stock"

Actually the braking, et and even the traps are only 2-3 mph apart. Pretty close in my book. I'd take the M5 personally.
