Fun run with supercharger 05+ Stang vs 02 SS
rollin home from work today i see a pair of 05+ stang tail lights and dual tips. Im thinkin finally something interesting to play with. So i roll past throw a rev and he's down.
So rollin about 70 i honk it off and we are even through 3rd. I slam 4rth and by about 110 I'm at his fender and we let off.
Second run we slow to a 40 roll honk it and i instantly pull to his front bumper and hold it till about 90 where he starts creeping on me and pulls past around 110, let off at 120 he was about a car ahead. Overall some fun runs gave him the thumbs up after i got off. the Stang had a passenger filming so maybe ill catch it on youtube ha.
Not sure about mods to the stang just exhaust, aftermarket cowl hood, some body kit or something. It wasnt a GT500,cs,roush, salleen, or anything thinking just a supercharged gt his whine was pretty loud when he pulled past so whatever that tells you and his exhaust wasnt that loud or at least i couldnt hear it over the cutout lol.

i had a 224 cam, longtubes, ory, and slp catback, with a dynotune and only made 363whp, it was through a 12bolt and on a dyno dynamics dyno but its still the numbers i got. but thats not the number thats important, its the number on the slip you get after runnin at the track thats important

1/4 times are all about traction and the first 60' makes or breaks you. My car is easily an 11 second car with a little traction and better air. From a roll race I have no traction issues. Those stock gt's have some lame *** skinny tires 245's or something? Sorry but I spanked him. When I ran it was 80+ degrees out and our track is at 2250' elevation.
Also funny you have a stall, gears and I am sure sticky tires, if you don't realize the difference between a car setup for the strip and shitty setup car with power than I dont know what to tell you. This guy would be lucky to run 13's at our track with his setup. P1SC 8 psi, 5 Speed and magnaflow exhaust. All else stock. You make more power than this guy too, you should know stalled autos dyno a lot less.

I'm aware that stalled unlocked auto's loose some power on a dyno. App 10% First of all the tune that I ran the 11.2 on, had timing pulled and actually was 413rwhp. Add 10% and your at about 450. Your right about the gears, I'm not saying he has an 11 second car but he should be in the 12's or he is a tool. If you said you had a couple of cars on him I could believe it but busses?. Post a vid and I'll believe you. I'm sure more people will drop the flag if they read this.

I found my old thread and it looks like you responded in it before. Up above where I posted the video of his car I said maybe it was only a bus and not buses. 4 cars is probably about a bus Your car runs pretty damn hard I would say you would murder me!

LOL I forgot about that thread. Big difference between busses and a bus length thats what instigated my first reply. I understand now.
