Default Killed by 2v and 3v!

Raced a bolt on 04 gt 5spd and cai exhaust 05 gt 5spd.

04 gt put 4 cars on me and the 05 put 5+ on me!

20 roll and 10 roll, same outcome. i'll try from a dig but those cars hook.

I don't think I even have that much.

I just bought a blower, and I'm ordering the rest of what I need for it of the next months.

Luckily I'm friends with both stangs, and they have one hell of a tune to back up the mods. Thats the secret.

Yeah, if that '04 was bone stock it would've been even. As for the '05, the car's got 11 years on an LT1, so whaddya expect...

Any 99-04 GT that runs 12.7 has more than minor bolt ons. Someone is lying to you.

What does that even mean? They have a hell of a tune to back up a cold air kit and exhaust?

I watched a friend of mine run his 03 gt down the quarter with , and i could be wrong been along time ago.. full exhaust, intake, gears, tune, skinnies and slicks and that boy could drive his car.. 12.98 at 104 was the best he ever did.. and that was in good air at a good track.. so 12.7 seems umm low... even with a hell of a tune on there... someone maybe got some more then what you know..

don't sound too far off...when i had just an xpipe/mufflers and a gear i would put a couple cars on my buddies 6spd lt1. although it was dead even when i was stock

and lol 12.7 is definitely possible...how about this

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UbQKL5aM5DI

there are two other guys on another forum i'm on also running 12's with bolt on's only...one has full bolt ons with hoosier drag radials and stock wheels up front and he is running consistent 12.80's at 106...the other also has full bolt on's and ran 12.8xx at 104.

oh and another one is by an ls1 owner on here...his name his 2v in the 12's and he ran 12.9 with only a 1.8 sixty foot and not even all the bolt on's

its possible

care to explain?

4l60e and th350 have the same 3rd gear

you don't race trying to pull in overdrive...your transmission shouldn't even go into overdrive at WOT

the th350 is prolly freeing up some HP for him if anything (less internal weight to spin)

and you can't go off of what one car runs...because there are many bolt on s197's running a heck of a lot better than 12.9...like low-mid 12's

I wasn't referring to full bolt-on ones.

Let this be a lesson to anyone accusing me of overstating the abilities of a Mustang
