It's funny that so many people put up such a stink about roll racing and talk about it like it's something that "these darn kids these days" are ruining street racing with. PSM and I were just reading an article from like 1967 in Car and Driver about street racing and they talked about how people usually went from a 30 roll or the like so that they didn't break parts as much.

The thing is though, most people that want to roll race now are people that either know they can't launch, or know their car sucks at it.

What makes you think that it was any different then? Were people better at launching back then? The only real argument is that tire technology has improved, so traction should be easier to come by, but otherwise, I'm sure the reasoning was basically the same back then as it is today.

I'm just making the point that it's nothing new. Some people want you to think that this just came about in recent years. There's a place for both kinds of racing and I'm sure the debate will rage on for years to come.

Personally I prefer dig racing because I think its real racing. Yeah it sucks because the potential of parts breaking is more likely, but hey man ohh well too each is their own sometimes for certain conditions you need to race from a roll.

Guys like you with 14-second cars can go from a dig on the street all day. People with high horsepower vehicles that can reach speeds of 150+ in a heartbeat prefer the highway where the is plenty of road. I can't find a decent street long enough in my city to stretch my nitrous Busa's legs so the highway is where it's at for me.

And no I have no problem launching on the street AND the track.

Sweet kill

I have been looking at 93's in the event I have to sell the C6 when my little girl arrives. It would need a whole new motor but I love them. At last count I've had 9 foxes.

No thread yet, I've had many issues with the car. The guy I bought it from said it was perfect and in reality, it was far from it. Here is my recent thread about tuning.

I don't think Big Hammer was making a joke of me. I believe he was making a joke of someone else. Nice try though.

I hope you get it figured out. It sucks to get someone elses screw up. To use a quote from Goodfella's.

What do you mean I'm funny? You mean, let me understand this cause, ya know maybe it's me, I'm a little ****ed up maybe, but I'm funny how, I mean funny like I'm a clown, I amuse you? I make you laugh, I'm here to ****in' amuse you? What do you mean funny, funny how? How am I funny?

The two-valve is clearly his favorite engine of all time.
