I have a truck with 125k on it..DD..lol
What VTEC does is engage a second Lobe on the Cam and opens the Valves a little more..pretty good idea in the upper RPM's...hurts it down low.
I love the ricer kids that don't understand how it works and put a switch on it and are like "I have a VTEC Switch so I can run it all the time.."
Fail.

What I said was a baited statement, as I was pretty drunk last night and hoping somebody would bite. Now I see that it's not as much fun as it used to be. I won't bother going into the technical stuff about it, but suffice it to say that I know exactly how it works, and what I said about VTEC not making any power is a half-truth. But it isn't really false.

I have no interest in your theoretical situations, i was simply telling kevin what the addition of a catback did for my setup, which had already included CAI and handheld tune before the catback was installed.
