You were a lot nicer to me in private when I did that sig for you. Anyhow ANY car the "sky's the limit" yes there are NewEdge GTs in the 8s/9s etc. YellowGT in here is running mid 11s N/A with his auto 2v GT. And plans for 8.9s soon with boost.

You can do it with any car. Does LS1 fbodies respond to mods better? HELL YES! But we weren't talking about that.

Ok, but what if you don't want a Z06? Or a GM? What if you want something different than those things? What if you like the NewEdge body style and look of that car? It's fanboyisms like this that annoy people no matter what car they drive. I keep getting the price of modding a LS1 being forced into arguments that have nothing to do with it. You can make a LS1 fbody faster than a stock Vette for less than a cost of a vette too. But what if you rather have a Vette? Do you see where I am going here?

Where I live it's GM country. Every teenager and 20-25 year old around here that wants a "fast" car gets a fbody from 92 to 02. They are ALL over the place around here. 95% of them are stock. 5% are modded.

I didn't want to be another Fbody owner around here. The Mustangs that are around here are 6cyl ones. Out of 10 mustangs you see, 9 will be 6cyl non NewEdge Mustangs.

Plus I wanted to make a "sleeper" of sorts. A 385rwhp boosted GT around here would be a sleeper. And a lot of fun. Nothing major. Certainly isn't "fast" by any means. But I only bought it for a fun DD toy.

I guess I don't understand this product loyalty thing. Especially from a company that has never payed you endorsement money to hock their gear.

I like cars from Ford, GM, Chrysler, Pontiac, etc on and on. There probably isn't one car company out there that doesn't have a car I like. I am not a snob in that way.

I guess what I am saying is, there is no need to be this aggressively hostile about car manufacturers or car models.

Regardless of who made the car, if someone made it fast, I will give them props.

I am not trying to say fbodies are slow, or that my GT can take LS1s, or that GM sucks or anything. But with the replies I am getting, you'd think I was.

No I never did sell it! I never really did try except on here. She runs better than she did 2 years ago after I finished building it. I am back in the scene. I I have a few thousand dallors in parts sitting around waiting to be put on the car!! I am still considering a new engine combo if you are interested in this one. Hit me up man!

Dam...I saw that arguement comming lol. I DD my car..80 miles everyday lol...including cali traffic (gay). And stock C5 or C6 Z's are awesome cars, but not the fastest thing out there. I regularly catch the C6Z driver off guard....most of them didnt see it coming either...and dont try to pull the "driver card" either lol. A stock C6Z make around 450rwhp.
