02 WS6 vs challenger SRT8 Ok, so im cruizin down the street when far in sight i see non other than a challenger. wasnt sure if it was an R/T srt or a v6...i finally cought up after almost running a red light...but for a second i lost em, he was infront of a big white van stopped at a light..(i couldnt see it) so i finally take a good look at it and its an SRT8, i said to myself "oooh yeah!" in a three lane road he was in the far left and i was on the far right. i dont think he payed attention to me at first, probably he thought well its just a little trans am..lol...so at the next light im behind em and he revs at me pretty hard..i rev back, so now i know its on 
the light turns green and he takes off like a bullet. i do to...so im on his *** when i *** up and miss third, i was mad but hey, it can happen right..?? so at the next light we are side by side, he rolled down the window and tells me that i dont have enough to keep up...he says, "im pushing over 400 horse power, im like at 425 and its stock" i said, 'my car is stock too, i only have 325." he said "see you wont keep up." i said "i wanna see about that..!" so when we are about to take off the stupid ambulance comes around all loud and annoying...lol. once it left we ran from a roll.. i pulled on em like half a car..his excuse was that it was automatic and mine was a stick..i said "SO!" you have more HP than me right, he stood quiet.... He said "well i know i can take u off a roll" i said "lets try it then" so we did it a last time and this time was a small up hill. probably a 15 degree. he said 1-2-3 so at three i let him punch it first then as soon as i heard his 6.1 roar i gave my little 5.7 all its got. 1st hit the limiter then 2nd took it close to the limiter, and i was like ***, here comes third..3rd went in like a knife on butter..by then i had pulled on em like 2 and half cars then i let go and braked cause of traffic...he didnt say anything anymore and he didnt even roll the window down to talk to me after that..poor guy!!

I love messing with SRTs. I raced a cool gut in a 300 srt8 I won but it was pretty close. I tried to get a challenger srt to run me last year but he wouldn't do it he waved me on but then ran a 03 style GT right after so he probably already got the memo on f-bodys. Nice kill OP but there is no way he had over 400rwhp if he was stock. Its 425 flywheel and its more than 10% drivetrain loss in that trans hell its probably closer to 15% so he probably had around 40 hp on you not 100 like he thought. Guess he learned his lesson.

I didn't run the GT the SRT8 did I moved behind them to watch and it was a slaughter on the GT. I have had quite a few run ins with GT's and they are nothing special except for the guy in my town with a Vortech on his anyway it made 400 rwhp and my car in sig ran dead even with it twice. He then sold it and it slung a rod shortly there after. 2V's FTL stock bottomed end ones anyway.
