I hear ya, I always did like the looks of them. Still do double takes when I see one. Obviously wish they were a bit faster, but I wish that about every car out there. lol

Yes they arent the fastest cars around.
But when the newer G35 body style came out it got lower gearing and it picked up nicely.
Maybe not fast, but for a loaner car it was way more speed then required lol and infiniti used the G35Xs for loaners so when brake torqued they put you into your seat.

well i think that g35's aren't really in the same class with f-bodies and mustangs and such. they are considered a GT car, grand touring, i took mine to Florida and back and could have turned around and done it again. i loved the sound of the stock exhaust, DAMN, i miss that car. but anyways, i don't think Nissan was shooting for fast as much as a nice mix of speed and comfort.

I remember I used to always want a G35 as a nice cruiser DD. Acquaintance has one and is doing that route through a rough Iowa winter.. claims it isn't good at all in the winter... Maybe tire selection hopefully? I think they are classy cars though

True. I've never had the pleasure of diving one. Unfortunately I have become victim of not liking a car because of the repuation of the bulk of the owners. Same reason I'm not one for porsches, corvettes, and vipers. Ignorant, judgemental, and a tad hypocritical; I'll admit, but I am only human after all.

Street racing is a little bit like sex. When you havn't had it in awhile, you will settle for what you can get. Even if its a slow pig.

God I need help...

I don't know why I didn't race the charger. Although I think it might have been the pretty lights on top of it that kept me from racing it.

a cammed 05 GT untuned will blow up eventually. 290rwhp is usually a CAI, tune, mufflers. a decently cammed 05+ will idle pretty normal because the VCT will tune out most of the lope. a full bolt on 05+ makes 315-325 rwhp/325 rwtq. a full bolt on cammed 05 = 345rwhp. HCI 05+ 365rwhp.

its irrelevant your car has it covered.

It's like Christmas when you race one of those. All the bright lights and reindeer (backup).
