Default supercharged GTO picks on a saleen.... or so he thought...
Ever since Stopsign hooked us up with this SVT website I have to say I’ve been pretty hooked. Reading some of this stuff is better than watching comedy central but every now and then I come across some crazy ****! Most of the people over there seem pretty level headed and none bias to there beloved Mustangs. Here is a story I thought would be LS1tech worthy. vortech Supercharged H/C/I GTO vs "saleen" 04 cobra Enjoy

The Cobras mods are: 2004 Mustang Cobra--- SCT tune, K&N intake, 2.8 pulley, Offroad Prochamber, Custom catback with flowmaster mufflers, 5.0 shifter, Nitto 305 Drag radials... Hopefully soon to be Whipple charged


And the GTO is a: vortech Supercharged H/C/I GTO

He said the Cobra made 480rwhp and trapped at 120+mph in the 1/4 with the mods in his list. (It's a freak) he said!! I don't know about you guys but a Blown, H/C/I GTO should be anywhere from 550 to 650 or more RWHP. Now they didn't get to race to far but in his words: (not a long race but enough to show dominance) Then they go one to talk bad about GM cars and there owners!! Check out the thread!!

zero traction u can hear it bounce the limiter then shift. Nice kill to the cobra tho a win is a win lol.

i doubt the cobra is any easier to hook up...almost 500rwhp as well as the eaton torque. but the vid is there lol

Well since you can only go to 275s, if your lucky, on the GTO I highly doubt he had any traction in the first two gears. I know my N/A 402 GTO cant hook first or second from any speed on the street.

GTO's = FAIL... If they would lose some weight then they would be alright, but they still need the monaro conversion
