These russian races are some BS no way in hell can 750hp 3800lbs GTR with driver and passenger (over 4100lbs) can beat/keep up with 720hp 3700lbs ZR1 with driver only..
I have a lot of races to that ZR1 some say 680hp some 720hp some 750hp and all that stg 1 LPE??? Does LPE even Have Stg 1 kit??
I really love the GTR but it just doesnt make any sense after reading at alot of forums everyone is saying the ZR1 is only TUNED by LPE so from stock 638hp to 680hp (570-600rwhp)

BTW GTR in the video made 701 AWHP on pump gas so its 830hp in the races I'm sure were on race gas

But seriously those guys are retarded, they come close as hell to that motorcyclist and pass numerous cars going 150+. I'm right there with you venom, these races are just not right.
That Zr1 is the 720hp LPE stage 1 which is REALLY a 680hp package at the crank. That car makes around 590rwhp, no exhaust work, just intercooler, pulleys, intake.
If you find the other vids, that GTR GETS SPANKED when he doesn't steal the hit. Those GTR's are barely pushing 135mph traps (the AMS car is faster and is no where near the high 130mph traps last i heard.. i know the owner of the GTR very well and he even says these russian guys are full of ****)

I know 600 whp GTR's are in the 133-135 mph range. The Switzer cars are pushing 650+ and are capable of 135+ traps.
Recently a bolt on tuned GTR ran a 10.4 @133 with bolt ons. Here's proof. BTW it has 573 awhp.

135mph traps in going to require the 650awhp+ from a GTR... even with launch control which on the street won't run like a true 135mph car... no launch control advantage in a roll. The swis cars are putting down over 700rwhp on a stock computer which are boost limited, if things haven't changed since I last looked it up.
If by the HKS570hit that produces 600awhp race fuel (from 420awhp stock) you mean bolt-on, sure! It still uses stock turbo's so I guess its a bolt-on. Also, I know that car, see it all the time down here. That car DID NOT go 133mph with pump gas and a hks kit. That is race fuel OVER 600awhp. 573awhp is on pump and probably meth or a mix. For a GTR weighing what it does hit that kind of MPH here in south florida (where the bullshit runs deep, it was on race fuel.. don't be fooled.)
Anyways, The swiss cars are running really high in the awhp range... but the point is this, that car is NOT running that hard with the power they are saying it is.... it just weighs to much and in a roll, again, where the launch control advantage is not applicable, it is going to take 750awhp to hang.
Case in point, a HKS570 GTR with 570awhp runs dead even with a stock C6 Z06. With race fuel, @ 600awhp (that's 160hp+ more than a stock z06) its in the low 130's (or 133mph) A Stock ZR1 is about 2 1/2 cars faster than a Z06 to 160mph.... and this ZR1 is a stage 1 making 599rwhp. How much power do you think it is going to need to hang? Let say another 160hp, for arguement sakes... that puts it where, 750awhp. That is bench racing but weight is weight and power is power.... no miami Bullshit story can excape from that.
As a matter of fact, I think a GTR just went 140mph .... not bad. Want to guess what kind of awhp it takes to get a GTR going that fast? (close to where that stg1 Zr1 is if not down to 138mph)

823RWHP/670RWTRQ. @ 27psi (aftermarket pcm) please note that this was RWHP numbers... AWHP is probably in the 800awhp if not 780-790AWHP to be safe. In other words it takes a lot of power that the though boost logic its on a stock transmission... that bitch aint holding for much longer unless they upgraded it.

I can't wait to see what the 1000hp AMS-built GT-R will run.
AMS is bringing their shop GT-R (not the 1000hp one) down to the Texas Mile this year, along with their 996TT and their 1400hp EVO drag car.

This is the same car that was at that mile run event they were doing and was getting punked all day. SLow... my guess, he is running headers. Probably has a CEL, uncleared and running a junk handheld tune that does absolutely nothing.

The ZR1 lost to the Z06. The Z06 was in the far lane from what I can see. Kind of hard to tell. Regardless a vette lost badly to a hks570 car and you say a stock Z06 keeps up? And I don't nut hug Nissan, I nut hug Porsche.
Decent video you posted but like you said weight kills performance. Take that passenger out the GTR and it's a whole different story. Of course unless the Z06 had a passenger, which if my memory serves me correctly someone posted that video and the owner said he didn't have one. IIRC. But what do I care I don't own either car.
