BMW vs GMC
I was riding with my best friend the other night and we came up on a 330 01 BMW convertible. He was one of those kids driving around in his moms car. We hit it off the line and he pulled my friends 01 c3 sierra pretty good! It was a manual but I was very surprised how quick he pulled us. My friends truck runs in the 15.4 range without the 22's on it.How fast are those 330's?

Since it was a convertible it was a 330ci, and btw they are slow as ****. Unless it was an m3 there is no way your friend should have lost unless he is just kidding.

Ive got the 555's not the drag radials. Before these tires I had some kid of shitty general tire that would break loose at 30mph and wouldnt hook off the line for ****. The nittos stopped the spinning from a roll but still try to break loose a little and hook ok off the line. And as a side note they have a bad *** tread and sidewall look! I still cant figure out how that damn 330 bmw outran us...we did have 3 peope in the truck, big *** system and 22's on it.

You'll kick yourself for not getting the Nitto DR's sooner Phantom. Just don't kick youreself too hard, I remember your fight stories... wouldn't want you to break your leg now...

Btw, It's a toss up between the 555R's, and the BFG drag radials. I'm hearing good things about both, but everyone keeps telling me the 555r's look much better, and looks counts for alot in my book.
Any suggestions?

The 555's are no drag radials but are a great handling tire and hook much better than my old ones. dont tihnk you can make a bad decision with either.

Yeah I need the drag radials tho. I almost lost to a damn honda the other day because I spun through first second and part of third. On a side note, the honda was actually faster than the mid 90's something cobra stang I had raced a few seconds earlier, so it wasn't a normal honda. Still tho, it was too close for comfort.

yah ... plus I'm sure all the sand that is on the road from when it snows up here isn't helping any. It feels like I am ice skating when I step on the gas. I know it isn't from the tires either, since those firehawks are definately the best overall handling tires I have ever had ... those things perform almost flawlessly in anything but snow (and sand).

Phantom, I think that you'll get more longevity out of the Nitto's. I hear the BFG DR's wear faster. I'm getting BFG's though. Not planning on running them full time on the car.
