Default My first race vids!

Had a little fun in Mexico this weekend.

I don't have any editing software yet, so deal with it.

I got in 3 runs with a 2007 Ninja 650R

And two with a 2010 CTS-V that I'm kicking myself for not getting it on film (pulled 2-3 cars from 10-145).

Here goes

The last race was up to about 150, first couple were approx 1/4 mile races.

That Ninja 650R sounds terrible! The damn thing sounds like an enduro bike!! Your track times in your sig seem like you wasn't getting a good launch off the line. You have a decent mph but an 11.97 e.t.? What happened?

Oh and nice runs against the bike.

Nice kills! Those 650 Ninja's arent exactly a super sport: low 12 second bikes all stock, congrats on making him see the error of his purchasing ways. Great starter bike though.

Were they all dig runs? Or low rolls? The V a dig also? I would imagine from a roll the CTS-V would give you a helluva fight being heavier but with a good amount more rwhp!

BTW love the way your car sounds! What exhaust setup are you running? That combo sounds awesome at WOT.

My trap speeds are up about 5mph since putting the intake on. No good launches with it yet tho. So no new track times. The car isn't really set up for drag either. I haven't ran bias ply slicks yet to really see what she can do.

All the bike races were from a dig.

It's only a 224 cam with patriot 59cc heads

I'm running the stock dual dual muffler after my ORY. On the last run I opened the cutout as I passed.

You gained 5 mph with an intake? You sure the weather conditions weren't a part of that gain?

I must have had some awesoe under the curve gains because I picked up that mph in all weather conditions.

Nice runs! Wish you had a vid when you ran the cts-v! What did you run for tires?

Good **** Matt. I personally seen his car run at the track and yes he did pick up 5mph by adding his FAST setup. My H/C/I stalled auto traps 122 with a stock 10 bolt and stock 4L60e. Plus he had clutch issue as well. I'm pretty sure he'll trap 125 and above easily now.

I figured a 556 CTSv even though heavier, would beat those times in you sig

The times in my sig are a little old. I haven't been back to the track with a good set up since I started trapping 120+.

But anything can happen on the streets!
