My brother racing a 5.0 Mustang from a dig to 130mph+. My brother has an SLP Cold air intake, K&N air filter, lid, descreened maf, Bellow, P&P Throttle Body, gutted cats, and catback. 5.0 has head and cam with full bolt ons. Both cars on street tires. Dead even all the way to 130mph. Pretty cool race.

Video is sideways so turn your screen over or **** your head to the left. After the race is over no need to watch anymore. Just crap that didn't get cut out. My brother doesn't edit his movies. He just uploads them.

x2... the people I hang with run all over my slow *** LS1 with their h/c/i 5.0s... I wonder just how small the cam was and if those were iron GT40s on there.

Yea, it was the fastest car we have ever raced. The guy in the Mustang is part of a racing family. They all have fast older muscle cars. We are inviting them out to the track next month. We will have a lot of video.

comparing a old school 5.0 ford to a ls1 is is like comparing camaro with a 305 to a 4valve. there is obviosly no comparison... it must make u ls1 guys feel good that your 300 plus stock hp can spank a 225 overated hp 302, and that it takes hci for them to keep up. you guys make me lol

i thought it was a good race. of course an ls1 would spank an 80's-90's 5.0 my GTA would spank that ***.. but a HCI 5.slow is another story, thats a respectable stang IMO. and they are lite cars????!!! now a days u dont know what to expect from an old POS car. ive seen a dodge omni hit 100mph at the 1/8 mile and that thing was super cool, not the nicest car but respectable. Not a ford guy at all but gotta give credit where credit is due
