You got a LS1 in your stang? I have never seen a 4.6 run that good with those mods.

thats good to know. I have a buddy with an 03 GT with gears an exhaust that wants to race and is pretty confident

Actually with good drivers in both cars it should be really close.

Nope no LS1 here, just a 2V 4.6L. That's what cold weather and good traction got me.

hehe give me a 125 shot ...and dude ill smoke ya ...your friend cant drive for **** ....just with my bolt -ons ..ive stayed even with a few ls1's ..125 shot ? he should have got ya by at least a couple cars .....if it was an auto they dyno real low like 215-220ish rwhp..the 5 speed cars dyno at like 230-240rwhp .....so just stock with spray he should have taken you ....depending on how you started ...traction blah blah nice kill ...peace

Brando...what other kinds of mods do you have?

MT roadtested a 2003 Mach1 with and auto and could only muster a 13.88 @ 101.91 That is with 305 HP and 320 TQ.

I've raced a stock M5 Mach1 and pulled him everytime. A stock GT has 260 HP...you're giving up 45 HP!!! I call on your 13.3 @ 102.98 unless you've got some mods we don't know about.

yeah,l and i have seen many stock mach 1's here going 13.3 and faster with a few mods.
seeing an auto GT with two mods running that fast i think is BS also.

Well intake & exhaust just doesn't mean I have a K&N air filter and some Flowmasters. I have a Densecharger CAI, C&L upper intake plenum, Off-Road H-Pipe, Weld-in 40 series Flows, and some Steeda UD pullies(really didn't help) and some 555R's.

I still don't believe that those mods can make a mid 14 second car a mid 13 second car.....especially with the notoriously power robbing Ford auto.

I hope you can understand my skepticism.........a 5M is good for mid 14's......I'm guessing an auto is good for high 14's. I just don't see how you were able to shave off well over a second and a half.........I don't even see headers amongst your mods.

Generally speaking....every 10-15 hp is good for about a tenth and 1 mph......so...we're talking a lot of power from those mods of yours.

Your times are pretty darn good for a bolt on GT though....right up there with my stock A4 vert!

Well guys that was my cousin that raced that mustang and i was the flagger of that race. And it happened exactly as he described it. I raced this same guy before he had the mods he has now...all he had was a 100 shot and all i had was a lid and cutout and i beat him. I was really amazed so when my cousin beat him i wasnt really surprised. Nice Kill Cuz...

Thanks everyone for reading and believing my story. I'd have to say these 4.6 Mustangs aren't anything impressive. Another 02 Mustang GT guy here in town has gears, exhaust, just recently installed the "Saleen Supercharger" and ran w/ slicks and skinny's @ the track this past weekend. I got to actaully line up with him and he jumped so hard outta' the hole launching at 4,000 RPM cutting bad *** 60' times, while all I could pull was 2.0. Anyways, he "missed 3rd gear" and I ended up pulling on him anyways... His best time with everything he's got, all the money put into his GT was a 12.90 (MPH uncertain). My best time of the night was a 12.82 (Signature). I dunno... All I gotta' say is "ALL HAIL THE LS1"
