Default 03 Mustang GT w/ 125 Shot vs. Me

Just thought I'd share a GT Kill that happened last night. A buddy was looking to run me in his Mustang GT w/ gears, Magnalflow exhaust, cold air intake, and 125 shot. I thought it would be a pretty close race but noooo off the line I slowly pulled every gear and ended up beating him by a car and a half... Im pretty new to the LS1 world and was quite suprised. Thought it was cool to share.

He could not even pull you with spray.....and gears.....and intake....and exhaust? That's pretty pathetic. With those mods you would be pulling mid/low 11's. Gotta love the LS1

"intake"...........LOL, you mean the piece of metal pipe in front of the intake?

It sounds like lots of mods, but when your starting with a 170rwhp car, IT ISN'T!

I thought 03 GTs make 220-230 rwhp.
260 stock
270 intake(pipe)
275 exhaust
400 nitrous (in theory)

I know what you mean. I tell people I will make 400 hp with juice, and they are like Then I correct myself and say no.... 400 rwhp, thats pushin 480 fwhp.

hmm unless ur ls1 has a shitload of boltons and internal work, i really dont see u beating a 03 stang with a 125shot

He didn't say 03' Cobra man..... Stock GT's are W-E-A-K. You ever watch that lame show Horsepower TV on Spike? They're project GT (granted it's a 96-97 or so) has tuning, exhaust, headers and a Vortech supercharger and didn't even put 300 to the wheels. That is pathetic. A stock LS1 usually puts 300 down on a chassis dyno bone stock. I'd hardly say an LS1 would need "a SHITLOAD of boltons AND internal work" to beat a GT.
