Default bolt on lt1 vs bolt on ls1

Raced a buddys a4 bolt on 00 ws6 in my infamous slow formula. He has lid/longtubes/ory. He posts here sometimes so if im missing something maybe he will chime in. Anyways
Race 1 50-He pulls 1/2 car to 120
Race 2 50-He pulls 3/4 car to 115
Race 3-25-Pulls about the same amount as race 2...but alittle more steady maybe even a full car

Great races no excuses on either part...Idk if there is vids we shall see

Haha a huge part in being an LT1 owner is the fact that people will always underestimate your car. Believe me, I know. Just remain humble and keep the modding going and beat some! haha I might make the switch to an LS1 though. I like the looks of 98-02 ws6's better

O.P. good job, sounds like you have a REALLY strong running lt1 there. Do the ls1 lid mod and I bet you'll close that gap up a lot. I bet your buddy was wondering why he wasn't pulling on ya like he thought he was going to.

What is there not to respect on the LT1? It is a very good motor... The problem with them is they are choked up, but as soon as you change the exhaust manifolds and heads they really wake up. That is a solid time you have there... What is your next mod?

M6 Lt1s MIGHT be as slow as an A4 ls1, I doubt that though. You poor poor A4 lt1 guys.. I don't see how you guys live with yourself.

Good kill op.

Damn Lemons I had a 94' Formula A4, with LT4 heads and cam, full exhaust, 3500 stall it was badazz. Never lost to a bolt on LS1.

Oh wait I forgot the 150 shot........

Don't believe it.. Only way you could pull that off with those mods is if you only ran A4 ls1s... An M6 would have DESTROYED that car.
