Damn u guys act like his concluding sentence didn't say "FIRST LOSS IN THE WS and I'm not ashamed" I'm pretty sure he doesn't think he can beat the damn car.
Besides **** happens during races that makes faster cars lose all the time. I've destroyed my friends 12.6 sec evo from a roll many times only to be completely destroyed from a dig. Of coarse there is the loss from the awd drivetrain that factors in but that's how it goes

Looks like you had some fun (all that matters).... as long as you understand what would happen in a best case situation it's all good in my book. I wouldn't claim a win but it's definately an experience to share, not many people get to roll with an F430.

well, he didnt say he killed it, but he put some amount of length (dont remember, dont care, 1?) on the f430 in race #1 and then got beat in #2. im on 40 posts per page, and when i have to scroll down far on page #3, its bad. usually if it hits 2 pages, its gonna be a bitchfest.

I've driven a manual trans F430 and did a write-up on it. It is an amazing car and revs so fast it is easy to redline. A stock Fbody, let alone a bolt-on, has no hope, whatsoever, of running even or beating one.
I don't even own one, nor have I owned a manual trans car since '97 or so and I could do better than the guy you raced, guaranteed.

What's wrong with you people? The OP said he "called out a Ferrari", in which he did when he hopped in his car and chased him down the street. 2nd, the OP never said he won....as a matter of fact he admitted he lost. He raced the typical Ferrari guy...somebody that doesn't know how to drive their car. It's as simple as that.

I remember I ran into a 430 on the way to Monterey last year, asian man in his 40's. I was in my 'vette and there was nothing but open highway ahead. Tried everything in my power to get a run in but the guy wouldn't budge. He plays sissy the whole time until it was time for me to get off on my exit. And then he decides to hit it. lol
