If you watch the video at 2.15 like juice says, you can see the cobalt shift around the same time as the camaro .
which means both cars were in first, which means that nick is lieing like a rug becasue the cobalt redlines at around 39 mph. ( he cant do a first gear roll from 40)
Which means the race started at aroudn 30- 35

That also doesn't make any sense because in the race at 3:00 when we know the Cobalt was in first gear it shifted wayyyyyyy before the Camaro did.(also in the dig race the Cobalt shifts out of first much much earlier)
So what you're saying is both cars shifted at the same time in the race at 2:15? The Camaro was clearly revving out, and the gear info indicates 1st goes to 50, while the Cobalt gear info says 1st goes to 35mph.

And, as Josh put it "If you really wanna start slingin **** around" when I raced the Cobalt in the Regal I should have been in first gear because 1st in that car goes to 60mph. And since the TPS was bad I couldn't downshift. The Regal was out of gear as well

I said almost the same time, and since the camaro was alittle ahead his MPH might have been higher.

I would place a huge bet on the outcome being exactly what you see at 2:15.

why does it have to be a favorable speed for you always?
40 is a bad spot for the cobalt period because its to high for first and to low for second .
50Mph is the magic number id want to go from if I had a cobalt. Then both drivers should be happy

this thread is stupid. arguing over what gear/rpm you were in 
you guys are 
simple solution:
take each of there cars out again with video camera in hand. point said camera at the cluster and take 1st until you hit the limiter. report abck to 'tech with videos.
