useless stangs
this forum makes me laugh some times. rwd, v8 owners always making some various excuse as to why they lost or something else sucks.
-5th gen camaro sucks because it has the same power and runs only high 12's mostly low 13's
- mustangs suck because they need boost to be fast.
- cobras/supras/etc all suck since they only go in a straightline.
- manual suck because auto are more consistent....
- roll racing sucks but people still do it....
- GSXR 750 bikes suck and I took one in my 3200 lb car with 400 rwhp
- The new 5.0 (2011 Mustang GT) sucks because stock for stock it blew away the 5th Gen Camaro SS...
everything sucks in this world... that doesnt have an lsX in it.

The thread starter says "I lost on paper". That is not the case. If that race were for 5 stacks, the GM won the money. It doesn't matter if the mustang ran a better e.t. He went to sleep on the tree and got beat. End of Story.

If you read the first post you can really see that OP did nothing wrong other than the title which probably should have been labeled. Useless driver in a stang, or something along those lines...

I like racing cars that have more power. This is where the stalled auto with traction is a huge plus. I have track kills over C6 Z06's & pullied 03-04 Cobras who all out trapped me by a considerable margin. But when they can't put it all to the ground and or fall asleep on the tree it gives the underdog a chance at the upset 
I've also lost races to 5.0 mustangs and a third generation f-body. You can't win them all and it would get kind of boring IMO if you did. I'll race whoever I line up against and I'll try to have fun whether I win or lose.

I wan't counting bracket races. But that's a good point and I've done both redlighting and break outs more times then I care to remember.
I can only speak for myself but I have been on both sides of the coin once. I raced a C6 Vette who ran 12.5 to my 12.6 but I took the win by a little less then half a car because I killed him on the tree. I also lost to car who ran an 11.9 to my 11.8 because he beat me on the tree.
It sucks to lose that way but that's all part of drag racing. I took my win with pride and I accepted the loss with dignity.

I say good kill because you did have a better rection time and managed to hit the gate first but all in all your car is the slower car! Let me clarify myself! I dont have a problem being called out to race. What I do have a problem is dont call me out with a 630 rwhp car. That is out of my league and most of the cars on this site .I enjoy running h/c ls1's and terminators,and other fast cars. I havent been talking **** on this site! I simply stated the facts. If some of you guys cant deal with it oh well!
