Cobra and srt-4 *video*
Well I went to the races this Sunday was there being a spectator when some guy in a cobra called me out. He wanted a dig I wanted a roll. We end up doing both. 30 roll I took him bad at least 5 cars. Dig race I babied it out the hole with him in front by 2 cars as soon as I punched it I pass him like if he was standing still. With me in front by 3 or more cars both races I shut off around 100(sorry no video). Went back to my spot and his friend called me out. I asked what he had. He said SRT-4 on MT slicks running on 18psi boost. He wanted a dig racr I said a 30 roll and a dig, he agreed. We did a 30 roll. Here is the video.
(1st race 30 roll) http://http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lcy8_jJrn9k
(2nd race dig) i babied it out the hole being on street tires and all and 5 sec in the race i let it ripe, flew past himhttp://http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yIpmQdIVEM8&NR=1 i dont know anything about boost, so is 18 psi boost alot.

SO what mods do you have?
And if its stock turbo 18 psi is not really pushing those motors at all but still should be decently quick off of a roll, more then enough to be a handful for a stock fbody or 04 goat.

Time for you to tire-up Mike: you can destroy them guys off the line with a set of good tires. Check out Tire Rack's prices on Dunlop Direzza Star Spec's if you want the absolute best tire available for the price: They are just as sticky as any drag radial, but with a autocross racing sidewall and good rain capabilities. My 265/45/17's were only $147ea., shipping was $20? for both shipped to my house.
At the track with a stock stall converter I could not spin -not even a squirm- off going WOT immediately off the launch. Though without a bit of spin my 60' times werent the best: repeated 1.9. My stall is going in when I get some free time this or next week, and I'll be running again. PM me if you want to know how they hook with a stall.
B warned though:The Star Spec's are vastly larger than there #'s indicate. My 265's are 10.75" tread width, which is .75" wider than 275/40/17 KDW's.

18psi alone isnt enough to tell if a car is dangerous, the size of the turbo lets you know if the 18psi is serious.
