Gotcha, didn't see the year there, haha. I've always liked the LS4 cars, but there doesn't seem to be an aftermarket for them. Probably make a nice daily driver with a few bolt-ons, but beyond that would take some custom trickery I bet.

before you kill the kid for having this car take a quick look at the modded LS4..
my '05 GP GXP went 13.6 @102 bone stock, 2.02 60' half throttle.. neck and neck at the track with buddies '06 GT with short throw CAI & Tune..

HAHAHA! I've been reading these threads for months. I know stopsign's got a beast....just pulling his leg.

Cam it........
Better yet, cartuning turbo kit, built trans, and some DR's
Maybe some headers, full exhaust and a tune. They're fragile cars. Fun for what they are though. Definately sleepers. I've got too many projects as it stands anyway. Got a wife and two babies in diapers at home too. Not gonna try and turn the car into something it's not.

i can see u beating a charger r/t those cars are so slow its sad all those 5.7l hemi's lol.
u gonna mod ur gxp anymore? those 5.3 have good potential

Hahaha...nah man. Not at all. If I had the bread I would definately do it. I've drooled over those turbo LS4 youtube vids for years. But the reality of it is I would have to peel major dough to get it to run as fast as a CTS-V, G8 GT or GXP, Charger SRT8, etc. That's all I'm sayin. A stock GP is not in the same class....I had that proven to me today.

Nothing too radical....no turbo anyway. If I hold on to this car for long enough I may though....**** who knows? Nothing in the near future for sure. Mid 13's would be plenty. When I get the itch for 10's I got my two wheeler!

Headers and spray=quickness. Theres a guy on LSX nation about to put headers on his LS4 Impala SS and has a few other boltons and it runs pretty stout for FWD.

Don't the "GP"s have a supercharged V6? How in detail does their aftermarket get?

I would just hate the FWD part of it. I can't imagine how hard it is to put any kind of power down with a FWD car. (I've never owned anything but a RWD car)
