ls1 vs vert 02 gt well this race took place a few months back, just decided to post it up. I have a friend with a 02 vert gt with full exhaust , 4:10s , intake maybe a few other things. Well he had been talking crap for a long time how he would tear my head off and that my camaro was slow, i never argued back i dont like talkin about how fast my car is, because racing isnt a big deal to me. But after a long time of talking i decided to shut him up. His roommate was riding with me and he had his Girlf friend in the car with him i heard him down shift to 2nd as we were coming up to straight away. So i down shifted to 2nd going about 45. I give him the kick he jumped about half a car till i hit it. As soon as i hit it i pulled car and a half before smacking 3rd gear i hit 3rd and pulled about 2 cars on him hit 4th gear and let off before 4th gear was over. In the end his roommate said i was about 5-6 cars ahead. We got to where we were goin and i got out laughing and he said he had me at first and that he would have something for me in about a month , after that he never talked anymore crap about how he would kill me in a race.

haha yea now he has a gsxr 1000 so i guess that was he was getting to run me. But the race was all in good fun to me even though he was really pissed off , and thanks

haha yea i wish i had the money to buy a bike i would.
yea they can be really annoying, and the thing is his GF even likes camaros better and him losing to one just made him hate it more

hahah you said it , he actually did say well lets switch motors because you have a bigger motor and see who wins lol. But its all cool he hasnt tried to race me since i beat him but always try's to race me when he has the bike.
