Thumbs up my 1st death :(

i was going to hooters with a friend and just happened to bring a camera just incase things got interesting. sure as im in a good spot to race an SVT lightening pulls out. i catch up to it and match his speed he gives it a little gas. ITS LOUD AS HELL. well he gunned it a few times and i noticed he had gauges up the A pillar. Plus this thing has a nasty *** whine to it. IDK if they sound like this stock, but the blower was clearly noticeable. After a while of failed communication i finally got a clean race and here it is. BTW my car is a 2002 trans am ws6 A4 3.23 gears and flowcrapper muffler so basically stock car. gave him a thumbs up for a good race though.

Those lightnings will surprise you, even in stock form. That was most likely a fairly stock lightning, but good race!

Your not from down south are ya haha love the southern accent. Im surpised you didnt pull him up top, they seem to hit a wall around 80-100 without being decently modded due to there gearing and aerodynamics. I would love to have one if it werent for there horrible gas mileage and weak trannys/shortblocks.

... there's a couple things you never should do in life ...

when drunk at a party, start any sentence with "Hey guys, watch this."

dig race a mustang after you found out he has slicks and stutter box

enter the water when the "Jaws" theme is playing on the tv or radio

race a Ford Lightning moments after a giant lightning bolt strikes the ground ahead of you

cool thing is i didnt notice that until i watched the video. but anyways. he got the jump but i stopped hes pull (its hard to see in vid) and inched forwarded but then its like we evened out and neither of us pulled anymore. we went from like 45mph or 50 to about 105mph-110. no excuses he got me but what u do guys think he had done if anything. cause before we raced he kept screwing around goosing it and doing fly bys and that blower was loud. idk if there loud like that from factory though. he had exhaust to, the pipes came out the right side so it wasnt as loud from the left lol i had fun though

every lightning I've seen had its pipes exiting the right side, so thats stock: The blower is noticeable, but if you are hearing it that obviously from a roll then I would say its gotta be pullied. That, and a stock lightning shouldnt be hanging with a LS1 from a roll. Ironically enough, those things are dig monsters.

Stock they are something like 380hp? and must be 4200-4500lbs. Had more than a few friends that had them: most of them got them into the mid-high twelves then they started breaking all sorts of stuff: at one time, out of 3 acquaintences with lightning, there was over a year stretch where there never was more than one running at a time. lol kinda like Honda's.

The first 10 seconds of that video are amazing. How often does lightning darn near look like it is striking a LIGHTNING?! A little better lighting and that would be an awesome GIF.
