hahaha nice puppy kicking! Looked like he missed a shift in the first race. Guy most likely took a IROC and threw a carb and cam in it then thinks it's king dog. Seen tons of them like that, they are lucky if they can hit 14 flat in the 1/4.

I don't think IROC's came with a carb, and my 3rd gen hit 14.1 at the 1/4 with LT's, msd, & gears

Of course they did, for a few years.

HAHA NICE.

Also, I believe all IROCZ's 85-86 had 305 TPI, and 87-90 had 305 OR 350 TPI.

Don't forget that if the IROC that got owned was a 350 tpi then it was an auto. Of course unless he did a trans swap. Either was nice puppy kicking.

Default Easy on the 3rd gen bashing....

LOL! Hey nearly all 3rd gens were pigs, BUT a few of the last ones ran great (for those days) if ordered correctly. I still have my 91 Z 5.7 TPI A4 (G92 perf pack) and the slowest pass it ever made was 14.teens. With the fuel pressure bumped up and a slightly looser converter it has ran in the 13.60 - 13.80 range ever since and still does till this day. And its a great looking car that you can't hardly stop and get gas in without people coming up to it and looking at it.

But, lots of people have lauched the 3rd gen into the mullet status by the way they act, drive, and maintain their cars! LOL! I guess one nice one can't cancel out 10,000 dogs... LOL! Flame suit on!

Camaros where pigs. Birds had better performing cars like the TTA and the firehawk. Oh and the firefox which was dropped and distroyed.

Nice Kill OP. Bet that really hurt his feelings pretty good.

Just to chime in. In 85' & 86' you could get 2 different versions of a carb'd Iroc the Lg4 & L69 alongside the Lb9 TPI.

I myself enjoy the thirdgen as with the fact most people never keep theirs looking good, or can properly build one it just adds to the hype that I'll be a cake walk for the newer muscle & imports. Just adds to the shock when they line up expecting to spank the "inferior technology" and in turn they are getting spanked.
