I was coming home from work yesterday night.. I looked in my rear view and see a kid in a yellow C5 vert behind me at the light on the exit ramp.

We both turned left, and he paced behind me for a little bit. We hit a few green lights, and then we catch a light. He's bone stock BTW.

I look over at him, as he's bumping rap music at the light and he says "You dont want any of this" then laughs.

OK buddy... I open my cutout (Thats the BEST feeling in the world)... My SS is now in obnoxiously loud mode. He looks at the light.. And we both wait for it to turn green.

I ease into it then floor it. He's a car up on me because I didnt launch hard. I bang second, and pull him in. At the top of second, I have 2 cars on him.. I go halfway through third and have another car on him and I let out. He goes flying past and laughs.. I thought maybe he realized he bit off more than he could chew.. We meet up at the next light.

He says "Nice try."

I look over with a blank face. And say HUH?

"Yeah, I Had you in first and cought up and passed you!"

"You mean when I didnt launch you were faster and after I let off you passed me?"

Now I'm a little annoyed. Were sitting at the light, and now I'm WAITING for it to turn green because I'm going to launch the **** out of my car to shut this little *** hole up.

Light turns green and I actually launch this time. I pulled hard on him out of the hole.. 2 cars by the end of first.. another 2.5 in second.. And pulled even more in 3rd (couldnt really tell at this point).

This kid must have been a really shitty driver.. Since I didnt pull a stock C5 vette vert this hard before. I raced one and had 2-3 cars by the middle/top of third..

I looked over at him at the next light and said "You dont want any of this" then turned right and continued on my way home.

I love beating cocky drivers.

I was more pissed at the fact he was talking **** AFTER he lost and seriously thought he won... I'm hoping to see him at some car meets this summer...

 

If you see him out he will probably be in his honda and not his dads car.

 

Probably his Dads car...I hate owners like that. Im kinda young as well so this gives me and my car a bad name. But I worked and paid off my car unlike others.

yea i pulled a stock c5 auto coupe by 2.5 cars from 50-120 in my lt1 formy....and a ls2 c6 vert m6 with a passenger by 1 from a dig-90

I get so infuriated with arrogant drivers like that. Had it been me in the driver's seat, I would have asked him to put $50 down to see how much "you didn't want any of this."

Where do you live? There is a local punk kid in a yellow c5 vette that seems to fit your description. The guy I'm thinking of told me he picked up a 150 rwhp by adding an ebay chip!
