If it was an a6 you need a driver mod first lol

I thought the RS6 claimed well over 500hp unless he is talking about rwhp

It sounds like he raced an 02-04 RS6.

450hp, 400lbft TT 4.6l V8. They typically trap ~110-115mph if he is stock.
Like the B5 S4, a mail order tune wakes them up pretty well.

Nice death OP.

The only RS6 with over 500hp is the Euro only 08+ RS6 with a TT V10 and ~575hp.
Audi doesn't plan on bringing over the latest RS6 anytime soon though unfortunately.

BTW OP, your post is kind of a jumbled mess of words and little to no punctuation.
You might want to work on that.

2005 a6 4.2 twin turboC5 engines

Audi C5 A6 saloon Regarding this C5 generation, Car and Driver magazine stated, "It is one of the most winsome mid-sizers to meet pavement, with some of the nicest handling this side of a BMW. In 2000, the moderate performance of this otherwise excellent, 3.0 litre V6-powered, sedan was improved by the addition of two higher-performance versions: the 250 PS (180 kW; 250 hp), 2.7 litre bi-turbo V6 and the 300 PS (220 kW; 300 hp), 4.2 litre V8, both with Audi's quattro permanent four-wheel drive system. In mid-2003, major muscle came along in the limited-run RS6 - powered by a 450 PS (331 kW; 444 bhp), twin-turbo V8 engine - which immediately finished first in a C/D comparison test".[citation needed] The C5 design was available with the following engines:

You are mistaken OP.
There is a C5 TT V8 A6 in 2005 (RS6), but it was technically only available in the US from 02-04 (all considered 03 models). It was available in Europe from 98-05. Car and Driver doesn't only cover cars available to the American market.

Also, it's called an RS6, not an A6 TT. The TT V8 RS6 isn't the only A6 with a TT engine.
That generation A6 came available with the same 2.7l TT V6 from the S4/RS4.
Calling it an A6 TT is like calling a ZR1 just a supercharged C6. The engine is not the only thing that is different in the A6.

Good job, and +1.

And as a side warning the 2.7TT A6s can be monsters with the right set of mods, awesome sleepers.

Keep us posted after your mods.. but, he is putting all that power down due to his AWD! we all know how hard you can launch an AWD and be like "the magic man" now you see me..(hands things over your face) and now you don't!

Good luck..

All those power mods will do nothing for your against him from a dig if you are on street tires. He is going to murder you every time.

Get some slicks/DRs then look into your power.

The RS6 guys normally don't like to launch their cars too hard out of fear that they'll pop their tranny. They're only offered with the same 5-speed auto as the B5 S4 and V8 A6/A8.
Not exactly the strongest transmission. That's not to say they don't launch even leaving a little soft.
