On a side note, I have raced bolt on 350z's in my SS on the highway...and lets just say its not pretty and rather disturbing.
I have only played with one 370z a little on a back road hammering turns right on his *** and as soon as we hit a straight away where I could pass him, I went by him very hard...

01 Arctic White Camaro M6 SS # # 5728 412rwhp, 381rwtq...517rwhp on the 100 shot
MS3 cam,Bolt Ons, 4.10's, Lowered/full spohn suspension, Ruff racing 280's etc....
How can you compare the performance of your car in straight line to a stock or even full bolt on 370Z? That is a pathetic comparison of how they perform in straight line. Lets compare your car to a stock ls1 on the highway... Or a C5Z... Or whatever else.

I stated this because this comes down to a domestic cant handle as good as a import arguement. What does every import owner that is out powered by a domestic throw in a the air for a excuse? " Your camaro is faster in a straight line but it cant hang with me in the turns". I have heard that over and over again and frankly it makes me sick. that is the only reason why I stated it. No **** I should murder a 350/370z. Hell, I would prolly be a good race with a TT one without even opening my bottle. I know this. That isnt why I stated it.
its also different when the 350/370z is the provoking one. I dont drive around looking for cars slower then me to pick on them, but you bet your *** if someone is next to me taunting them, they better be ready to go...thats what happened here. I was the taunted one.

Your car might handle as well as a stock 370Z in certain situations, but fully independent suspension in a car that weighs a couple hundred pounds less is just physics...

Because you're clearly a ******* idiot. Anyone who thinks an F-body handles well hasn't driven any cars that actually do handle well. That doesn't mean they can't be setup to handle decently though.

Sorry, but that is kinda the truth. My old Mustang (which would make any stock F-body seem like it handled like crap) didn't handle as well as my stock S2000. Once it got set in a corner it was ok, but fast transitions weren't its strong point.

I always wondered if GM put shitty shocks/springs and small sway bars on the LS1 Fbodies just so that they wouldn't handle near as wellas the corvette? Because with a decent upgrade to those three items Fbodies can handle really well. SCCA anyone?

Physics. Just like the "no replacement for displacement" thing, there is no replacement for a car that was built to handle. An old 3,300lb chassis (sorry) with an SRA just isn't going to handle as well as a dedicated fully-independent suspension car that weighs ~3100lbs.

Properly set-up SRA cars can actually handle nearly as well as an IRS.
SRA really only becomes a serious issue on a very uneven surface. For example, you wouldn't want to override the rumble strip in an SRA car. On a track, you don't normally have to worry about hitting a dip or bump though. That's really the only time you're going to have contact issues.
Everyone who kept track of the Pike's Peak hill climb knows this SRA beast was only two seconds slower than the record breaking Porsche (and first in its respective class).
