I met with some friends earlier to day and they decided to do a few pulls. I was riding in my friends Z28 recording. This is proof that Mach 1's run hard if they have the right pilot. The ZO6 is the one I raced yesterday and the one in the photos I posted.

Mach 1- K&N filter, x-pipe, catback (290rwhp 312rwtq)
Z28- 85mm TB, K&N FIPK, Mac headers, ORY, catback, under drive pulley

I've beaten about a handful of Mach's quite easily before and the orange one was the fastest one. He's also beat other Mach's with more mods than him and also beat a few LS1 F-bodys.

Great vids, very much wanted footage of the infamous equal ford mach 1 in action. cant really say good death on the Mach though b/c if he had equal mods it would of been different. Gotta respect that orange Mach, it ran hard for being softly bolted. So you didnt get a tune after installing LT's correct?

No, my friends Z28 isn't tuned. There was a bit of timing pulled at a performance shop because of some AF problems. The Z28 runs a lot better now too

Good runs. That C5Z moves out. I had to look twice at that Mach. Looks almost identical to mine from the side.

It does run pretty damn good.
I don't know how to put it in 1 video. I'm recording the runs off a point & shoot camera. If there's a way to put it into 1 vid then please let me know.
It's not my car. I'm just the camera man

what software do you use? in windows movie maker you just upload them all, click on import video (will have to do this on each one) and then drag them into your clip.

It's funny how folks expect LS1s to routinely run with the new 5.0s while these old Mach 1s already run toe to toe with us.

yea the reality is that a ls1 fbody is a 13.6 at 105 mph car with normal drivers at normal tracks with OK weather...

mach1 is more of a 13.8 at 103 mph car..All in all it's gonna be close
