08 Shelby GT vs 09 G8 GT **VIDS** Me and SRZ have been wanting to line up our cars for some time now and just got a chance to do it. We figured the race would be close but the 2 cars were so even you can barely tell we're even racing. I'll let the vids do the talking.
G8 GT is completely stock and auto, Shelby GT has muffler deletes only and is a 5 speed. First race was about 45-110 starting in 2nd gear, cut short from a truck ahead. Second race was around 15-140 starting in 1st gear. I still can't believe how evenly matched the two cars are.
The G8 also ended up running a 350Z and a heads/cam foxbody which I'm sure vids will be up at some point as well on here. Overall we had some great runs that night!

These races were a long time coming, but were well worth the wait. Probably the best races I've ever had in any of my cars! If this isn't incentive to mod them both up then nothing is

Vids came out good! In the 2nd run on your camera you can here my 3rd to 4th backfire. Don't know why but ever since I've gotten it the car backfires pretty good almost every time going from 3rd to 4th when I'm on it. Wonder how much extra power I could get with a proffesional tune instead of the shelby tune...hmmmmmmm.

Yeah, we definitely have to get some runs in against the Cobalt. I wouldn't be suprised if it pulled away from me based off the trap speeds I've been seeing, but you never know until you line them up!

It's not a waste if the owner felt it was worth the money spent. And I'm pretty sure he does. I've noticed that you enjoy talking down to people... got a big head from your fast car?
