mach1 a drivers race??? Yeah maybe if you dont know how to drive your ls1.. Its kinda saying the 5.0 and the ls1 is a driver race. When stock for stock ls1 would get owned and so will the mach1. Ls1 are underated and put 300rwhp+ (most of the time) Mach does not put 300rwhp stock and its a bit heavier.. Slap some gears intake and exhaust than you got a good race. My buddys mach1 put down 281rwhp with intake and full exhaust and I drove both cars. The mach will get up faster but ls1 will run it down almost everytime unless driver sux ***..

Manny, I don't understand why you are so cocky about a car that runs 8.7's... Hell my little POS slow lt1 does a half second better than that

Yes your right, I do act cocky at times but I guess I just Give out the wrong impression. Honestly I'm not in person. And yes 8.7 isn't anything proud to be of, but like I said this 8.7 was a crappy run since I didn't stick the tires to the ground until I hit 2nd and kinda granny shifted into 3rd. It was about 85-86mph run also. My friends z28 did 8.8 with minor mods and better tires then me at about 83-84mph. I know I have a strong TA and I don't act cocky about it but confident because I know what it can and can't do. Like I said I've beat cars that I know I shouldn't, but thats the nice part of having a nice sleeper, just whoop *** and take the win wether people like it or not. I know that a lot won't accept it but eh, I don't care much. There will always be people who disagree. That just makes me laugh.

I wish I could agree with you but the only thing Dodge has going for it is the SRT8 Challenger (the NEW Charger really isn't a muscle car -- no offense to any owners out there!)... the r/t really isn't anything exciting due to the excessive weight. If only Dodge could really get their head in the game, shave off about 400 lbs and get that 6.4L hemi out for the SRT8 Challenger thne they might have a say in things...

Yes, that's right Mach 1's are a drivers race stock for stock with LS1's. Like it or not its the truth. Mach's aren't heavier than LS1 F-bodys either. Your friends car is weak if he only put down 281 rwhp with FULL EXHAUST!!! My friends Mach with a filter, x-pipe, & catback put down 290rwhp 312twtq. Maybe the Mach's you ran just couldn't drive for ****. Mach's run mid to low 13's just like LS1's and some even hit 12.9.
I think on any given day an LS1 will run a slightly lower ET and at least 1-2mph quicker than any Mach. However, gearing could make a difference for brief highway runs.

anybody who talks **** with a stock *** car to someone who is modded is a complete idiot..does it matter that he has a modded motor in his stang or the stock one? he would drag your *** up and down the road!

just yesterday a guy in a stock 94 stock vette reved the **** out of his car at me at a stop light,i just laughed at him its a waste of my time and gas..you guys with stock f-body's need to worry about the imports and not the modded v8's.
