Default 2000 WS6 vs Audi S5

Tonight on my way home from a friends house I encountered a quickly approaching white Audi S5. At first glance I was hoping maybe an R8 since the distinct led head lights. This guy flys up on my rear bumper while I'm in the slow lane and then shoots over to my left and to top it out....throws me a rev. So I start to pursue....we get to a long safe straightaway in the road with little to no traffic. I then proceded to down shift to 3rd gear and motioned for us to slow down from 80mpg to friendly 60mph roll. So, I gave him the hit and we are off! S5 never gets past my front bumper as I slam to WOT and start to walk on by. At around 125mph this Audi is about a car and half behind and I start to shut down. I get the German version of a "fly by" as he shoots past me as I gently apply my brakes and bring it back down to 65mph, hence the traffic up ahead. I slowly pass him up and tried to give him a thumbs up, but he wouldn't turn my way. Maybe I hurt his feeling? Either way, this S5 was beautiful in white and looked dropped with some nice staggered wheels. I wonder if it was modded and if this was the v8 or twin turbo v6?

Sounds fun! I'm sure we could set something up. Who does your tuning? Since I'm in market for a tune for both vehicles.

this guy off the trailblazer forums. but he tunes pretty much every tbss in the bay and is really good. tunes everything from z06s to silverados im sure he could do a g8 gt and ws6. plus hes fair priced $250 for a street tune.
id either have him tune it or go to newtech cant go wrong with either tho

Thanks!

I spoke with one of the guys over at newtech the other day and was very happy with them over the phone. Getting married next month so it's just about the dollars right now. I'm planning some more mods and a tune come October!

thats cool those are suppose to respond well with basic mods, guy who works at newtech has a g8 gt and iirc he said he gained like 40-50whp when he added headers to his intake, catback, and tune setup. 375whp/375wtq.
u been to the track before in either car? im gonna try and go back again when the weather gets a little better if u'd want to bring out one ur cars

Haven't ran either car at the track yet, but I'm very interested in going and seeing what my ws6 turns with all my recent mods. G8 I'm sure would be a blast aswell

Nice kill....but damn if those S5's aren't the sexiest cars ever made in that price range.

Welcome to the world of the 6.1.

355-370rwhp and 355-370ish torque, stock. Add intake, catback and dyno tune and they are 400rwhp/410-420tq on 91 octane and mine is 413/432 on 96+ octane.
