06 gto vs challenger srt8 yesterday on the way to my girls house i pull up into a double left turning lane in which my turning lane merges into his.i see a blacked out challenger srt8 and its a beautifull looking car next to me.i have no intentions of running him at that point and time.
light turns green i get on it alittle bit to try and pass him to merge ,but he gets on it and is at my door..i spin in second gear and start sliding sideways and let out of the throttle some until the road is straight..then floor it all the way up to about 110mph and only had a liitle over a car on him..i don't know his mods ,but that damn car was fast for being such a big car.

hey guys, I'm right across the bay, i just dropped my car off at dyno tune performance today to get her tuned. do you all ever get any cruises together over there. its too far for me to go to hang out, but there are mostly stang guys over here. mostly highly modded foxes, and a few gt500's

I'm just north of parksley, in nelsonia. if you know anyone from around here, you know that they are all stag guys, my brother in law has a 600+ whp GT500, Jeff and Jesse west used to have a pair of nasty 9 second cobras, a gang of fox-bodies everywhere, then stock or exhaust only f-bodies, then me with my disappointingly slow 408.

check your eyeglass prescription man, your in the "stock or exhaust only f-body" class. i consider full exhaust still in the exhaust only. but its ok, i bet your car would destroy john's cam and exhaust untuned A4. you'd be 10 cars ahead while he was trying to keep it from stalling out on him.

I don't doubt that at all. Note I said "feel like" rather than "are" because I know they aren't as slow as it seems. Wish they were faster in general though. My uncle wants to do a supercharger on it once the warranty is up.
My aunt has both. Bone stock srt8 in silver, bone stock 99 z51 corvette. The Corvette is MUCH zippier from stops and low speed acceleration (ie turning onto on ramps).

so u guys are sayin that a c5 would lose to freakin challenger srt8 on the highway? i find that hard to believe, i mean the challenger in theory makes more power but its got litterally hundreds of pounds and shitty areodynamics, to where i would think at high speeds the stock power out put would be negated.
