Default K20 Take Down

Last week i raced my buddy's N/A K20-Swapped Honda Accord hatchback. We went from 1st gear at about 25-30. I immediately jumped about half a car by 2nd gear. Throughout 2nd and 3rd gear i barely pulled another quarter car, and threw a code haha. By the time we shut down somewhere around 130 (all i know is i had just started 5th gear) all i had gained was a car length, maybe a little more. We both had one passenger with us, and i was content with the results. I know those K-series motors haul some major *** haha

Thanks

My mods at the time were: Brand new BFG G-Force Sport Tires, 140k miles, Whisper Lid, Smooth Bellows, 85mm MAF, Koni Single Adjustable Front Shocks, Bilstein Non-Adjustable Rear Shocks, Thicker Front and Rear Sway Bars, B&M Short Shifter, Centerforce Stage 2 Clutch, Fidanza Aluminum Flywheel, and a Loud Mouth 1 Cat-Back.

Since then: Pacesetter Race LT's, TSP ORY, Removed A/C Belt, Removed EGR, Removed AIR, and Dyno Tune.

However, at the dyno tune my car was running so lean the people told me the only reason my engine hadn't melted a piston was that it wasn't getting enough fuel to heat up enough....So they wouldn't do a full run, and i was left guessing with 340 ft lbs of torque, and an estimated 350-360rwhp. And i'm now waiting for my new Walbro 255 fuel pump to arrive haha

Not sure what year it was, maybe early 2000's? But i'm pretty confident he said it was an accord, and it was most definitely a hatchback haha.

I'm looking at pics, and it must have been a civic hatch. However, when i raced his other civic hatchback with a b16 swap, he said just wait till i get my other hatch out here. And on other occasions right after that, he'd say...wait till you race my accord. So i assumed it was a honda accord hatch, as well as thinking i saw ACCORD on the back of it...but idk could be going crazy!

I dont see why your stock fuel cant hang. Youre basically stock. Isnt part of a tune to "tune" it so its not lean or did you just do a regular dyno run? Youre still gonna have to tune for the new pump but at least youll already have one for when you get some engine mods. Sounds like a stout car though. Good luck.

A K-swapped Civic is a badass car. Pretty much the wet dream of every Honda fanboi.

Not especially fast without a lot of work done, but respectable and VERY fun to drive (if you like turning corners).

Cool swapped Civic:

My fuel pump is bad. The check valve in the pump is bad too. Myengine was only getting half the fuel pressure it was supposed to have stock (30 vs. 58 i think).

Yep i didnt think so lol they are really no joke when gutted.

But the B16 and gutted is not fast by any means unless its got way more mods.
