Cammed 2010 Camaro vs Porsche 911 Turbo vs Stock C6 Z06 vs LS3 Camaro **VIDEO**
Ran another C6 Z06. this one was bone stock with less than 1800miles. the Driver is not used to the car and his shifts wasnt the best (as you will notice in the vid) as mentioned car has less than 1800miles and the guy didnt get the chance to practice his shifting + he used to drive auto.
we did about 6 runs, but only 2 in the vid. the other 4 runs were almost the same (25-30mph rolls) two of these runs the Z06 owner missed 3rd the third run was close to the one in the vid, and the last run was the best for the Z06, his shifts was a bit better than all of these runs and he did slightly better than the one in the vid. the 2nd run in the vid was the 2nd best run for the Z06. sorry no vid of the best run (both cars had cameras, but one didnt get that specific run and the other vid is not even worth watching since you cant really see anything lol) btw both car had passengers. I would like to thank the Z06 owner for running me eventhough he said he is still not used to the car, but he agreed to run me now and will do it again when he works on his shifts. I will be running another stock Z06 today. I ran him yesterday, but with no vids. we did 2 runs, he put about 1.5car on me. I will run him again today or tomorrow and get some vids.
the LS3 camaro is by far the fastest bolt-ons camaro ive raced. but also the only camaro that has an intake manifold. both cars had a passenger and as you can see that camaro was pretty fast considering mine has a cam both have 426wtq but mine has 26whp more
the races with the 911 turbo was really fun. we did 8 runs. gave the turbo few mins between each run for the turbos to cool down. you will notice how the passenger had a big affect on the outcome of the runs. there was another guy that should have been in the 911 to take vids, but he couldnt make it. we found out that ~30mph was the best roll for the turbo, even though his turbo boost up earlier.
forgot to mention, ive been having issues with the clutch lately and I always miss 4th gear especially when power shifting. Ive been having this issue day one I had the short shifter installed. but its worse now since the shifter is kinda loose and the clutch gets hot quickly. (to a point where it sticks to the floor after doing 4 runs in a row somtimes. I guess that clutch is giving up with the added power, eventhough the camaro has only 426wtq!?) oh and because it has 20k miles and half of these miles are lol
sorry for making this very long time for the vid

keep the videos coming..love it..camera guy must be pretty hefty..what kind of shifter do you have?have you tried adjusting it?..don't know why you'd have trouble with 4th..thats odd unless there is a mechanical issue

I know lol people have issues with 3rd not 4th LOL my 3rd shift is perfect no issues but 4th

Powershifts are really hard for the tranny..There must be a mechanical problem; your shifter must be loose.
Nice race and it was odd to see the outcome with the camera man in the other car!!

Awesome runs man even though SS was 300-500lbs heavier than the other cars I really think it did very good..
I dynoed 09 ZO6 with less than 300miles made 425rwhp
and 997 Turbo is also 420-430awhp car.
Keep the vids coming Oh I think the stock clutch is asking for Mercy.

True my shifter is loose, I was going to fix yesterday, but just didnt have the time to do it. I will look into it maybe tomorrow. as for power shifting, I dont think it affects the tranny, or maybe it does not have a big affect on it. I never had an issue in my previous silverado, c5, and c6. also no problems with my current Z06. but I dont know. and yes I didnt expect to see that of a big difference esp in a roll race

what is it with the Z06 that we dyno it with under 1000 miles? LOL.. I dynoe'd my 07 with 500 miles and it made 455. Great runs QTR. I agree with Venom that even with the added weight, your car yanks hard in your vids.. very very impressive! Keep the vids coming!
btw.. what kind of cam are you going to be running?
