A long time ago I used to have a ricer... I used to think it was so bad-***. That was until a V8 Pontiac Transam pulled up side by side. This moza foga burned rubber and boned out! Not once, but at 3 different lights. My ego was bruised... I didn't want to race no more. It was a sad story. That's when I realized the power of the V8! And that's when I got my own T/A.

Yes probably, but it has just enough *** for me, and apparently a little too much for most of what is on the road, including some of you big boys.

Whats with the bagless? Just rebuilt and breaking it in still, should be putting down about 320 wheel but dont want to put it on the dyno till it is good and broken in. With slicks, I should be runnig low 12s, but I dont really go to the track much so I cant really say. I believe your car is measured by what it runs on the street because that is where you drive it.

We should meet up next time I go to Fort Worth. Don't get to see alot of MR2s around here, nice cars though. I doubt I will be going anytime soon but I might. Last time I went was on New Years Eve and I spent the entire night driving around downtown Dallas. Oh well got to see the sights lol.

Yeah alot of people disregard them as rice, but I love the way my car handles and it has enough power to be very fun. Yeah I'm not too big on Dallas, I like it better here in Ft. Worth you know the people are nicer and it is a little more quiet. Plus there are plenty of rednecks in LS1s to spank up and down the street.

i sold my 98 eclipse to buy my 95 trans am. it was well worth the trade, but in the time i spent in the import crowd, i know for a fact that there are blown 4-bangers out there that can kick the **** out of some v8's.

I like the MR2 (I have several friends with them, little too cramped for me, more like a lot to cramped, LOL). I also like WRX's and 3000 GT's, so I am not hating on all rice. I was just making a joke with the bagless.

Thats why I always brake when I let off ... just to remove all doubts (you can throw your hazards on too ... it seems to be a commonly known fact among ricers that the race is not over until someone puts on their hazards)

Well, in my only race when I beat the integra, neither one of us put our hazards on... but, im sure I broke down on the side of the road before he did, so then I guess I won, cuz I beat him to putting on the hazards.

You guys getting the Civics to race are lucky..., it seems like I hardly ever get the chance anymore, but the lope might have something to do with that.

Even considering the fact that there's no suspense to racing a 120 hp econo car, its still fun. Racing a civic with an LS1 brings the same kind of gluttenous pleasure as swatting flies with a tennis racket, drop kicking a rotton watermelon, lobbing an egg off the top of a building, etc. You know what's going to happen, absolute demolition, but its just so dang fun...

My favorite is to pace one at 60 mph, drop it in second, get sideways and then hammer it into 3rd at 75 laying down another pair of black streaks. Even a ricer can figure out they've brought a pocketknife to a gunfight at that point.
