He doesnt even have long tubes. hes prolly making 310rwhp to your 385 and hes only about 100lbs lighter then you.

The ls2 has the edge over a ls1 fbody not by much tho its still a drivers race i'd say but if the gto is modded and the camaro is stock then thats no surprise if both are similarly modded then thee camaro has some issues...

I expected about the same, considering you are modded, maybe a little closer but definitely didn't expect him to win with just 315s, a lid, and a cutout.

You need some form of exhaust, BAD.

Nice kill man! Is this someone I know or just someone you ran into? I bet I'd be a decent run for him haha.

I'm surprised he didn't get some sort of jump on you in the dig race, but not surprised with the overall outcome.

I'm not.

Looks about right, he needs some 4.10's or to make some actual power to use those 315 drag radials

He does have "some form of exhaust", he has a cutout (which outflows any catback I've run). If you are saying he needs headers to beat a GTO, then you are incorrect imo, and it's a very very good opinion.

The truth is, the LS1 has a Catback with a cutout... not just a cutout

You fail at reading comprehension. "You" was directed at Ju1ce, the OP, since the camaro owner never replied. His exhaust sounds like ***, as we all have told him many a time. I'm sure your opinion is "very very good" but unfortunately if is very very wrong in this case.

I foresee a whole lot of bench racing coming in this thread's future. Statement's that will be made:
"Well I beat a GTO..."
"...Should have..."
"well if the camaro had equal mods..."
......and a whole lot of 1/4 mile times and trap speeds being thrown around.

.................or since I just covered everything, we can all just say good kill and end the thread here.

My car has a stock catback, no need to buy something that's not gonna add power. For the price of a damn catback I could buy a Cam.

I know the stock GTO exhaust flows very well, I just hate the sound and wonder how you live with it. To each his own though.
